As one of the biggest celebrities in the world, and a footballers wife, Cheryl Cole is used to the good life. But as she prepares to fly to Africa today, the Girls Aloud beauty was spotted enjoying her last few hours of her A-list lifestyle.
Cheryl Cole was dressed casually in jeans and a sweater, which she glammed up with a pair of huge heels, the 25-year-old indulged in a spot of retail therapy in Knightsbridge last night.
Cheryl was seen with an assistant in tow to carry her purchases, she looked every inch the celebrity as she wore her obligatory RayBan sunglasses in department store Harrods. Cheryl Cole has thrown fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue a lifeline – by threatening to quit The X Factor if Simon Cowell gives Danni the boot.
Show boss Simon Cowell has been seeking a replacement for the Australian beauty, 37, but Cheryl has now put a stop to his plans by REFUSING to sign her new contract until Danni Minogue gets hers.
It seems the Girls Aloud beauty was worried she may not like the new judge. Possible replacements which were in the running included Lily Allen (Who Cheryl has a long-running fued with), Charlotte Church (Another long-running feud) and Destiny’s Child superstar Kelly Rowland….who risked upstaging her.
A source said: “Cheryl told Simon straight — if it’s not her AND Dannii together, then he’s looking for TWO new stars. There’s no way he will let them both go.”

This is just a quick update for people who are following brave-terminal cancer sufferer Jade Goody‘s battle for life, and plans for her last-minute wedding.
Earlier last week, Jade had mentioned that she was desperate for Girls Aloud to perform at her wedding on Sunday. The whole wedding was planned in 6 days (literally) and Girls Aloud only had 5 days notice that Jade was desperate for their appearance.
Unfortunately despite Sarah Hardings comments last week saying “They were doing everything they can to rearrange their schedules to enable them to perform for Jade” – there just wasn’t enough time. Nadine Coyle was booked to leave the country for Los Angeles on Saturday - just one day before Jade’s wedding. Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh are also training hard to ready themselves for their epic climb up Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief next month.

Cheryl Cole recently insisted in an interview that Girls Aloud WILL stay together “if” she gets pregnant.
This kind of begs the question of why she felt the need to bring up the whole pregnancy issue. I mean any of the 5 girls could get pregnant, and pregnancy isn’t the only issue that could cause the girls to split, so why did Cheryl specifically bring pregnancy up?
Is Cheryl Cole hinting she might be pregnant? Is she hinting that she wants to get pregnant? or was the subject brought up ‘out of thin air’?

All good Girls Aloud fans will know that the group picked up their landmark first Brit Award for best single a few days ago, and as with all good Award Ceremonies goes an after-show bash, which was held at Coleridge’s in Mayfair and was full of more celebrities than you could shake a stick at.
Its rare that blokes are aloud to a Girls Aloud party, but there was an exception this time as the girls were looking glamorous as ever, each turning up with their respective partners in top of the range Merc’s, the best designer dresses that money can buy and high heels that rivals the tallest of skyscrapers.
