Cheryl Cole‘s husband wants a baby by Christmas, according to a new report.
Chelsea soccer star Ashley Cole – who was arrested for drunk and disorderly outside a Fulham nightclub last week and was accused of spending the night flirting with a blond in the club – is said to have discussed with the Girls Aloud singer-turned X Factor judge his dreams of becoming a father shortly before she embarked on a trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
A source tells Britain’s Now magazine, “They drank champagne and ate sushi. They’re so close at the moment – probably the closest they’ve been since all the revelations about his infidelity at the beginning of last year.

Insiders at The X Factor have said that celebrity judge Cheryl Cole is the only person to get a pay rise this year. Cheryl is expected to land a deal which will see her salary for appearing on the hit ITV talen show rise by a massive 34% according to a report in The People.
The Girls Aloud babe, who was reportedly earned £820,000 for her debut year at the show last year, and is expected to earn a mega-£1.1 million to resume her role on the judging panel.
X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary is expected to face a pay cut, and only Simon Cowell, who has already signed a ‘golden handcuffs’ deal will be safe from the proposed cuts.

For the eight long days it took to climb Mount Kilimanjaro all that mattered was making it to the next camp. Used to living life in the lap of luxury, the nine celebrities in the Comic Relief team had to put aside their complex beauty routines and get back to basics.
But as they triumphantly stepped onto British soil this afternoon it was clear that the females in the team had raided their suitcases, and make-up bags, in preparation.
Cheryl Cole, her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh, popstar Alesha Dixon and presenter Denise Van Outen had all replaced their walking boots with high heels.

Girls Aloud will be making a spectacular flying performance at next week’s Dancing on Ice semi-finals, says a report in the Sun.
The popstars are currently learning to fly for their act, which will see them perform their latest single Untouchable while suspended from the ceiling on wires.
Dancing on Ice mentors Torvill and Dean will perform a stunning routine to the number while Cheryl, Kimberley and the girls will fly above.
An insider revealed: “Everyone’s really excited about getting Girls Aloud. It’s wires week so they’ll be suspended from the ceiling.“
Meanwhile, Dancing on Ice bosses have revealed that the demand for tickets for the final is causing them some difficulties.

Cheryl Cole was hit by storms as she conquered Mount Kilimanjaro yesterday… and now flies home to give shamed husband Ashley Cole a blast of his own.
Exhausted and frozen to the bone, Geordie Cheryl Cole, 25, and eight other members of the Comic Relief mountaineering team, saw four of their tents blown away after reaching the 19,300ft summit.
The Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge said of the climb: “It has been without question the single most mentally and physically challenging experience of my life.”
