Girls Aloud fans who have been hearing that Girls Aloud Have Split over recent weeks are going to be happy to hear that they were indeed rumours, and the girls have no intention of splitting up.

X Factor beauty Cheryl Cole‘s bid for solo stardom is now well underway. Cheryl took a break from her X Factor duties to begin work on her solo album with Will.I.Am.
When arriving at LAX airport, she was greeted by a host of snappers, proving she’s beginning to make a name for herself in America.
The Black Eyed Peas front-man and Cheryl Cole have worked together before. Cheryl has also appeared in his Heartbreaker video as part of the Passions of Girls Aloud TV show, and the producer was eager to team-up with Cheryl once again. (who wouldn’t be eager to team-up with Cheryl Cole?).
Cheryl looked a little surprised as flash bulbs caught her looking stunning in a modest grey dress. Cheryl’s solo album is due out in October.

Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue quite literally went toe-to-toe in the latest round of X Factor style wars, as the pair stopped off in Glasgow for X Factor auditions. The X Factor beauties have paraded a series of chic outfits in an unofficial battle to become the shows most glamourous judge, but the fact the friendly rivals both wore the same pair of heels on the same day marks a fashion faux pas in the rare-field world of celebrity.
The £490 six-inch heels are a favourite among celebrities, including Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum and JLO. From the ankle up, Dannii triumphed yet again in an elegant tuxedo dress which easily outshone Cheryl’s skinny jeans and singlet combination. OK so i know this isn’t Cheryl Cole news, but it relates to Cheryl, aswell as affects her. All members of Girls Aloud agreed on a temporary split earlier this year so they could each pursue solo careers, with the option of returning to Girls Aloud at a later date.
Well the rumour mill continues to churn, as Nadine Coyle has announced that she’s had enough with the band that made her famous. A reputable source close to Girls Aloud (which we will not name), has said that Nadine now spends most of her time in Los Angeles, and is embarking on her own solo career.

We reported earlier this year that Simon Cowell has advised Cheryl Cole to take elocution lessons if she hopes to carve out a TV career in America. But weeks after the report, Cheryl confirmed she would NOT be taking the elocution lessons, or trying to crack America because she wants to stay and work on her marriage, and continue to work in the UK.
Well it seems Cheryl Cole has now got her heart set on America again, after Simon Cowell has lined the Girls Aloud babe up to become the head judge when he takes The X Factor to America.
