Cheryl Cole‘s husband wants a baby by Christmas, according to a new report.
Chelsea soccer star Ashley Cole – who was arrested for drunk and disorderly outside a Fulham nightclub last week and was accused of spending the night flirting with a blond in the club – is said to have discussed with the Girls Aloud singer-turned X Factor judge his dreams of becoming a father shortly before she embarked on a trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
A source tells Britain’s Now magazine, “They drank champagne and ate sushi. They’re so close at the moment – probably the closest they’ve been since all the revelations about his infidelity at the beginning of last year.
“Ashley told Cheryl he wants her to be pregnant by Christmas because they’ve bought a new house to have a family in. They want their home to be filled with happiness as well as the sound of children’s laughter.
“Cheryl’s agreed to it, but she’ll have to balance that with the Girls Aloud tour and her career prospects in the US. She admits there’s just been too much going on for her to be broody right now, but she loves the idea of making the new house into a proper home with kids.“
I don’t know about you guys, but this all seems to be very ‘conveniently’ timed, right after he is caught out with another woman. Seems to me like he is trying to divert attention from himself by suggesting a baby.

'Ashley told Cheryl he wants her to be pregnant by Christmas…' What do you think she's gonna do, cheat on him or something? If Ashley wants her to be pregnant by Christmas, Ashley's the only one who can make it happen if she's going to be pregnant with Ashley's child. Anyway, all I can say is that Cheryl doesn't seem to be keeping her part of the agreement as she's not pregnant yet! LOL
