OK I’m not gonna write here about how big a fan i am of Queen again, but just thought id update you all as to whether Queen would indeed be performing on The X Factor, or whether they were just mentoring the acts.
The Sun Newspaper are claiming that Queen will indeed be performing on The X Factor. The two remaining members of Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor will take to the stage to perform their flagship track, Bohemian Rhapsody with the contestants.
The two biggest Afros in music appeared head-to-head last night as Jamie Archer met his hero – Queen’s Brian May. The frizzy-topped duo were introduced as the talent show wannabes were given rock masterclasses by Brian and Roger ahead of tonights Queen Night.

Oh gawd, here we go again. Ding ding – it’s round 57 in the feud between Lily Allen and Cheryl Cole. And both seem happy for a battle.
Organisers for the special Children In Need Concert – which airs next Friday – had to make sure Cheryl and Lily path’s didn’t cross and even made sure their dressing rooms were at opposite ends of the building.
Despite their efforts, we saw Lily on feisty form as she got a ringside view of Cheryl Cole’s performance of Fight For This Love, with Lily belting out a comic: “Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love.“
She tried to score more points by mimicking her Geordie rival’s soldier dance footwork and cracked herself up by punching the air.

Late on Thursday night after Cheryl Cole’ performance at Children in Need, Cheryl gave her party-pooping husband a ticking off in front of paparazzi – because she wanted to party and he wanted to go to bed.
The X Factor judge wanted to celebrate after giving a spectacular performance at Thursday nights Children In Need Concert, which is being aired on BBC 1 next Friday.
But premiership footballer Ashley Cole had enough, and wanted to head back to the hotel room. Cheryl earlier in the evening performed her debut solo single Fight For This Love in a revealing white military style outfit at the Royal Albert Hall before she joined Snow Patrol on stage.

OK i know you guys are going to think i am totally barmy, but I’ve just heard that Queen will indeed be making an appearance on The X Factor this weekend in association with the theme of the week being ‘Queen Week’.
As one of the biggest Queen fans in the world, I’m really quite excited about them appearing on the show. (Call me sad in the comments area below.)
