When Cheryl Cole launched her solo career with the chart-topping catchy single, Fight For This Love, she vowed to fight for, well, what she loves. But fans of pop princess Cheryl are now fighting for her right to chart success.
In a similar Internet campaign to that of Joe McElderry’s Rage Against The Machine Campaign, thousands of devoted fans are planning to push Girls Aloud’s single, Untouchable to the top of the charts after it failed to get into the top 10.
The rapidly growing campaign already has more than 5,600 Facebook users signed up who have all pledged to buy the song to make sure Girls Aloud’s record of top 10 hits remains unbroken.

As we know Girls Aloud have taken a temporary split and I don’t know about you, but I am almost counting down the days until their new album is dropped, which according to ‘The Daily Star’ is to be released this summer, 2010.
Now, on May 3rd 2009 their single ‘Untouchable‘ reached number 11 in the charts (there lowest charting single to date). This in my opinion is just not good enough and it seems that other Girls Aloud fans agree with me as they have launched a campaign to get it back in the charts. ‘A Rage Against The Machine-style’ Facebook group has been made to give the single a second chance to make it in to the top 10.

Girls Aloud stars Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole have reportedly vowed to bury their differences.
The two singers got into a much-publicised rift last year after both planned to launch solo careers at the same time after leaving Girls Aloud.
While Cheryl Cole’s solo career took off in a big way, Nadine Coyle failed to attract a solo record contract. Even Girls Aloud’s record label turning the star down, amid claims that she demanded unreasonable terms, and for her bad attitude.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has revealed that she initially hated ‘Love Machine’, a massive hit by her band, Girls Aloud.
The song, which debuted on Girls Aloud’s second album ‘What Will The Neighbours Say‘, and reached number two in the charts when it hit shelves in 2004. But the song wasn’t much appreciated by Cheryl, who revealed she thought the song was “crap” when it was first shown to her.
The 26-year-old singer told Q Magazine: “I remember listening to ‘Love Machine’ and thinking, ‘Wa cannot put this crap out’. That’s what I said to the label: ‘It sounds like something Busted would do!“
But Cheryl Cole’s initial concerns proved wrong, as the song became a huge hit, with the band going on to produce a string of 20 consecutive UK Top 10 Singles, which broke all previous girl band records.

Sarah Harding is starring in St Trinians 2 which is out in the cinemas this Friday. Whilst Kimberley and Nicola seem to be using the break as a time to chill and not work. Nadine is off in LA but no body has heard a lot of her recently.
