Last Saturday (20th of February) me and my big sister Rebecca travelled down to London (which is about 1 hour from where I already live) to see The X Factor live tour at Wembley Arena.
The X Factor contestants that I was most looking forward to seeing was: Lloyd Daniels, Stacey Soloman, Jedward and Joe Mcelderry and they failed to disappoint, they were absolutely fantastic.
This was one of the best tours that I have ever been to and i will never forget it.
Take a look at the pics below and tell us what you think …

You’re already really famous Joe, but what were you doing before you became a star on The X Factor?
I was at college studying for a National Diploma in Performing Arts in Newcastle. I’d just finished my first year when i went to the auditions. I was doing a bit of singing on the course… but not as much as I’m doing now!
How amazing did it feel when Dermot finally said you’d won?
Well judging by my face and the way I leapt back by about 20 feet, I think everyone could see how shocked I was.
Do you think Cheryl was as suprised as you?
I think so. I didn’t know weather I’d heard my name or not, and Cheryl kind of ..read more
Joe McElderry who the nation saw win The X Factor in December has confessed that on his debut album for Simon Cowell he would love to work with Ryan Redder.
Mcelderry won a once in a lifetime opportunity: £1million contract with the entertainment mogul’s label SyCo Records as part of the TV talent show prize.
He told Digital Spy: “That’s something that I will have to discuss with the record company and we will find out a bit more about their plans as we go through.”
He also revealed that he would like to work with songwriter Ryan Tedder.
He said: “I don’t know where the rumour came from but I you know it would be nice. I never actually said it, but it ..read more
X Factor winner Joe McElderry has revealed he is itching to start work with Ryan Tedder on his debut album, which will hopefully hit shelves in 2010.
Joe had high praise for the OneRepublic star, who worked with Leona Lewis on her massive hit, ‘Bleeding Love’, and Beyonce’s hit, ‘Halo’.
Joe McElderry said: “I would love Simon Cowell to put me with Ryan Tedder for my album’s ballads because he is an amazing songwriter.” But before Joe can head into the studio to record his album, he is going on the road with The X Factor Live Tour, which kicks off on February 15th, and will earn the young popstar around £300,000.

As I have said many times on this Cheryl Cole Fansite, this is and always be a ‘fansite’, so I am more than happy to post pictures and stories of when our readers have met the people this website is focused on. For example, Cheryl Cole, The X Factor Contestants, Judges etc.
I got this email from one of our regular readers today, Molly Tate. Molly has a track record of meeting X Factor contestants, as the pictures below show. Molly met The X Factor winner Joe McElderry recently after she visited the house the contestants were staying in.
Molly tells me: “I got to meet Joe because I am a massive fan of his so I decided to go up to the X Factor house in Golders Green, London but i didn’t have any idea that i would actually get to meet him and talk to him. I then saw the doors opening in and i looked twice at him because i couldn’t believe i had actually seen Joe. Then he started walking towards me and he asked me how I was, Then I said to him Joe I think your going to win The X Factor so that made him give me a hug and I asked him if he would have a photo with me and he replied yes.“
She continued: “Joe is a genuinely nice guy and he deserves every success he gets. I have never met anyone nicer than Joe. He stood their talking to me for about half an hour and not every celebrity would do that. That was the best day of my life and i will never forget it.“
Molly also got to meet Lucie Jones (my favourite), and saw Jamie Archer, Danyl Johnson and Lloyd Daniels.

Well, it was an uphill battle for Joe McElderry after winning The X Factor 2009. Traditionally, The X Factor Winner always gets the Christmas number one spot after winning the show, but after a well-publicised Internet campaign to get Rage Against The Machine into the number one spot succeeded, Joe was left downhearted.
But it wasn’t all bad for Joe, as his single, The Climb managed to take the New Year Number One spot instead, where it shifted 69,792 copies in its second week. But one week later, and Joe McElderry is knocked off the number one by Lady GaGa with her single, Bad Romance, which she performed on The X Factor a few weeks ago.

It’s been a fantastic year for our Joe McElderry. I bet this time last year he couldn’t have imagined he’d be sitting down on Christmas day with his family, and a £1 million recording contract under his belt.
But despite how busy The X Factor Winner has been since winning the show, he still made time on Christmas day to sit down with his family, and celebrate what matters most to him. His family!! And he was full of cheer last night, as he manages to ‘climb’ to number one in the charts, after knocking off his chart rival’s Rage Against The Machine.
He also sold FIVE TIMES as many copies of his single than his mentor Cheryl Cole sold, as she managed to only get to number four in the charts with her single, 3 Words.
Well done Joe, you and your family deserve a great Christmas.

After loosing out on the Christmas number one spot to Rage Against The Machine last week, Joe McElderry was pinning all his hopes on getting to number one in the singles chart this week, which would make him the New Year No 1.
McElderry spoke of his happiness today after he bounced back from the Christmas number one race, after a massively publicised campaign to stop Joe getting to number one succeeded.
Joe’s cover of Miley Cyrus’s hit, The Climb sold a massive 196,000 copies in it’s second week, compared to just 69,000 copies shifted by Rage Against The Machine, which ended up at number ten this week.

Yesterday we published an article which claimed that Joe McElderry was likely to loose out on the number 1 spot in the charts this week to his mentor, Cheryl Cole.
The pair are set to go head-to-head this week in the music charts with their singles, Cheryl Cole’s 3 Words, and Joe McElderry’s The Climb. But figures released today from Mondays sales tell a completely different story.
Despite Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love heading right into the number one spot, and taking the crown as the fastest selling single of the year, her latest solo effort sold a lousy 8,808 copies on Monday.
And the Official Chart Company predict the rest of the week ..read more
Joe McElderry might have been left heart broken after he lost out on the chance to be No1 last weekend, but he is now outselling Rage Against The Machine by two to one.
The X Factor’s 18-year-old winner had to deal with his cover of The Climb being the ONLY X Factor winner in the shows history to not go in at number one. But the Internet campaign for RATH has now lost momentum after their impressive win, and is now trailing well behind.
The heavy metal rock group have sold 40,000 copies of Killing In The Name since Sunday, while Joe McElderry – The Climb has sold 80,000 copies in the same amount of time.

Yesterday in a post we published announcing Joe McElderry Lost His Chart Battle for Christmas Number One, at the end of the post, we asked what Simon Cowell could do to ensure their X Factor winner bags the number 1 next year. Well it seems just one day after the Rage Against The Machine campaigners won their battle, Simon has the solution. He’s offered them a job.
Simon Cowell said he was gutted after losing the battle for the top of the festive charts, but he was no ’sore looser’. Despite offering Jon and Tracy Morter – the people who started the campaign – a job, they turned down his offer.

X Factor music supremo Simon Cowell has reportedly splashed out on Joe McElderry and his family, offering The X Factor winner a luxury holiday in The Alps.
Joe McElderry and his lucky family will get a taste of the high-life, as they spend two weeks in a five-star chalet in the Austrian Alps, which will set Cowell back a cool £20,000.
Simon announced the holiday shortly after Joe was told by Radio One that he lost his chart battle in-which he and Rage Against The Machine battled it out for the Christmas Number One slot. After a much-publicised Internet campaign, RATM’s track Killing In The Name took the number one spot, with a 50,000 lead on ..read more
