It has been reported that Simon want’s to shack up the TV show and want’s to introduce more young artist for the judging panel. So possible line up could be Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and could be Miley Cyrus who might be a replacement for Steve Jones.

The music mogul is rumoured to have told the singer he needs to go on a diet before the live shows start, to help him lose a bit of weight so he looks at his best.
A source told Now magazine that Simon has ordered Gary to eat plenty of veg and lean protein during the evenings and to cut back completely on sugar.

“Simon knows that Gary, along with the other judges, wants to look good on the panel and he thinks he’s helping,” the insider explained.

If Gary’s got a problem with Simon’s rumoured advice, he doesn’t appear to be letting it show at the moment and anyone placing an X Factor bet probably won’t be that worried about things. But then he’s got his mum helping him out, so no doubt she’ll be keen to fight his corner if needs be!

While Gary’s got bandmate Robbie Williams giving him advice in the judges’ house stage of the programme, he has his mum helping him out a little closer to home.

The judge revealed Marjorie has been telling him who she thinks should be going through to the next stage of the competition. Gary told The Mirror: “She has been to a few of the audition days and she has watched the audition tapes back about three times this week.”

But far from seeing her as interfering, Gary said he thinks it shows exactly what the programme’s all about. People at home always sit there thinking they can do better, he explained.

Gary also revealed he doesn’t believe there’s any rivalry between X Factor and BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. A “different type of person watches Strictly”, he claimed. Those following the X Factor odds will agree.

The singer might want to tell that to Sven-Goran Eriksson’s ex Nancy Dell-Olio though, since she reckons, single-handedly, she can make the BBC show even bigger than The X Factor.
