The X Factor just seems to get bigger, and better each and every year.
During The X Factor Live Show Week 2, not only did the show see a record 15million viewers tuning in, but our very own Cheryl Cole Launched her Solo Career, along with the exclusive comeback of Whitney Houston.
The theme of the week was ‘diva week’, so the contestants found themselves thrown in at the deep end, singing classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Beyonce, and Whitney Houston.

The X Factor’s Mr Creative himself, Brian Friedman has claimed Cheryl Cole will NOT be the winning judge this year, and that she’ll struggle in coming weeks due to her poor contestant choices.
The shows creative director Brian Friedman, who is in charge of choreographing routines for contestants, told the Daily Star: “Cheryl made some very big errors of choice this year and I don’t think she’ll win.“
He continued: “I think Cheryl went for people who would win votes instead of the better singers, but I think she made a mistake. I would have put Ethan Boroian and Duane Lamonte through. I don’t think Cheryl is pushing them enough. I don’t think she is choosing the right songs.“

Ratings for the popular ITV1 Talent Show peaked at an impressive 15 million viewers, beating last years final of 14.6 million viewers tuning in to watch Alexandra Burke be crowned as X Factor winner.

In the unlikely case you haven’t heard the news, Cheryl Cole gave her debut solo performance exclusively on ITV1′s X Factor last night, with a great reception from (most of) the fans.
In a raunchy military-style outfit, Cheryl Cole gave a sizzling performance which really wowed the studio audience on the popular talent show.
Upon finishing her up-beat dance song, called Cheryl Cole – Fight for this Love, she got a standing ovation from the studio audience, and her fellow judges.

After another dramatic weekend on The X Factor, which saw Cheryl Cole Reduced to Tears, and the twins sing Britney in red PVC suits, Cheryl Cole’s act Rikki Loney was voted off the show.
On a night which saw Cheryl Cole Perform on The X Factor, and Whitney Houston launch her career comeback, it all came down to Simon Cowell to choose an act to leave the competition, after the public vote saw Rikki Loney and Rachel Adedeji in the bottom two.
