Cheryl Cole gushed about the Queen and her hair when she performed at the Royal Variety Performance in Royal Albert Hall in London on November 19.
Cheryl, 29, went to Twitter to express her admiration for The Majesty. She said, “The Queen is so delicate. She has hair like candy floss and tiny little dancing style shoes…Awww.”
It looked like the Queen was also quite enchanted when she met the former X Factor judge as she widely smiled and briefly chatted with her.
The Girls Aloud members also didn’t hide their delight at meeting up with the Monarch.
Nadine Coyle posted, “I met the Queen of England tonight & the Duke. The royal Albert hall was jumping with faces. A celeb spotters dream! Xxx hahaah great day!”
And Kimberley Walsh wrote, “Cannot believe I just met the Queen! What an amazing night! #royalvariety2012.”
For the event Girls Aloud decided to wear matching dresses with gold and black fish tails where they sang some of their greatest hits. This is the Girls Aloud first live performance together prior to getting reunited to launch their comeback tour.
