Since news broke yesterday that Cheryl Cole would be performing at the 2010 Brit Awards in February, there has been a lot of buzz and interest from fans.
Not only will Cheryl Cole be performing at the Brit Awards, but she is also nominated for Best British Single, which us die-hard fans are going to do our best to ensure she gets her hands on. Shortly after the Brit Award Nominations were announced, the bookies started pricing up odds on the winners, and they seem to think that our Chezza is a dead cert to walk away with the prize.
Infact they think that both Cheryl Cole and Robbie Williams will pick up at LEAST one award each. Cheryl Cole is currently favourite for ‘Best British Single‘ with 2/1 odds, which means she’s in place to beat off JLS who are at 7/2 to win same award. Last years X Factor winner Alexandra Burke also has odds of 11/2 for the same prize.
Robbie Williams currently has odds of 4/5 to take home the Best British Solo Male award, with the second favourite being Dizzee Rascal who is at 10/3 with Paddy Power. Other act’s expected to do well include Kasabian who are favourites for Best Album at 6/4 and Best Group at 6/5. Florence and the Machine is 6/4 favourite for Best Female Solo Artist and 5/3 for Best British Breakthrough Act.
