Fame can bring you a lot in life but there comes a time a celebrities work starts drying up, usually as a result of age, or when people stops buying your music.
But Cheryl Cole has big plans to ensure she has a long successful career. For the last two years, she’s been working closely with Simon Cowell on The X Factor, and she’s clearly been taking note.
For Cheryl Cole wants to steal Simon’s job as a music manager. The sexy Girls Aloud singer wants to follow in Simon’s footsteps – a guy who has masterminded the careers of people like Leona Lewis and Il Divo. She wants to start her own record label.
Cheryl said: “I’d love to have my own label in the future. I’d love to be on that side of it, I love hearing new artists, I love choosing songs and developing acts. So that’s something I’ve got planned.”
She also has plans to take The X Factor format elsewhere in the world, where she believes she can find talent in places such as Zimbabwe. She said: “If I was asked to go to Zimbabwe I would. I’m sure there’s a lot of talent there.“
Not only does she have to enter the music management arena, but she’d also like her own clothing label. “I would love to make my own clothing range but if I ever did it I’d want to put the time and effort in properly. Sit down and do the drawings and pick the fabric. I think it would be high street. It would be fin, but not right now.“
