Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has been invited out for a kebab by up-and-coming dance star Frankmusik.
The 23-year-old musician is collaborating with Cheryl on her solo album, and has told a national tabloid he plans to take her on a tour of his favourite places in his hometown of Croydon.
Frankmusik said: “I’ll show Cheryl my favourite kebab shop, the pond which is now being filled with concrete and all the drunk people in the parks.“
He added: “I get everyone to come to my studio in Thornton Heath in Croydon and then have to say hello to my nan first. It really breaks down any barriers that people may have. I think that will be enough for any girl. She might want to ditch Ashley after that and move in with me.“
Cheryl and her Girls Aloud band-mates have all agreed on a ‘temporary split‘ after their current Out of Control Tour ends so they can each pursue solo projects, whilst still having the option to return to Girls Aloud in the future.
Cheryl is due to begin work on her solo album when the tour ends, and Frankmusik is determined to keep her true to her pop roots. He said: “I will absolutely keep with the pop theme.”
“I want to see how much of Cheryl’s personality I can bring across through the music. I want it to be honest and not to sound too manufactured. Working with songs and grafting them to a point where they are undeniably solid is what I love.“
