Step aside, “the Rachel”, there’s a new hairstyle in town.
Apparently, former Girls Aloud star and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole hairdo has been named as the most copied hairstyle in Britain, according to a poll conducted by high street hairstylists Toni and Guy.
It appears that British women are now lusting after the Call My Name hitmaker’s long, shiny curls instead of Jennifer Aniston’s iconic “the Rachel” look, though she deserves some accolade for being the true ambassador of the most iconic hairstyle in the 90’s, even after she came in fifth spot in the list.
Holly Willoughby’s long blonde locks were the second most desired style, while Kelly Brook and Kate Middleton came in third and fourth place respectively. Charlie Angel’s star Cameron Diaz, New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel, reality star Kim Kardashian and Anne Hathaway all managed to make it to the top 10 in the list.
Earlier, Cheryl, 29, who announced that she’s taking six-month break from showbiz, said she’s relocating in the US to spend some time with her US boyfriend Tre Holloway in Los Angeles.
