The “Hallelujah” singer, who quit her record company RCA last month, told The Mirror that she’s has spoke to the former Girls Aloud singer for more than a year, even though there isn’t any known animosity towards each other. She said that she haven’t talked, heard or seen Cheryl for more than year.
Alexandra, 24, continued that she and Cheryl never had an argument or something like that; it’s just like that their relationship just fizzled out. However, she said that she wishes her well.
Her last single and solo album weren’t up to the expectations. The single, Let It Go, just managed to reach #33 in the UK Singles Chart, which fell to #74 the following week. Her recent album, Heartbreak On Hold, which was released in June 2012, just sold 6,731 copies and peaked at #18 on the UK charts.
However, Alexandra hasn’t given up hope. The singer is presently working on some new music and is expected to release her new record later this year.
