Cheryl Cole was reportedly raging last night after love-rat husband Ashley Cole begged his wife to put off their separation plans until AFTER the World Cup in Africa this summer.
The England football player – who has been caught having a string of affairs – made the astonishing request on Friday night when he arrived back in Britain, causing his wife to explode with rage.
Ashley reportedly made the heartless suggestion to delay their divorce until July – when he would arrive home after the South African World Cup. Needless to say, he got an absolute “NO” from his Girls Aloud singing wife.
A source close to Cheryl said: “Cheryl hit the roof. She flew off the handle and he knew instantly he’d said the wrong thing once again.”
And this wasn’t the first time Ashley had made the selfish suggestion, after texting her 3 weeks ago begging her to delay divorce proceedings. When he arrived back at their Surrey mansion expecting to talk things through with his wife on Friday evening, he was surprised to learn that she’d instructed him to pack his bags, and instructed her mother escort him off the premises.
Ashley Cole is currently staying at his London flat, and was seen driving his Bentley yesterday afternoon. What do you think of Ashley’s suggestion? Was it a reasonable request, or was Cheryl right to go ballistic at him?
