Cheryl Cole raised $64,000 for her charity foundation

Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl Cole has pulled an impressive feat by raising $64,000 for her charity, “The Cheryl Cole Foundation”, when she embarked on her debut solo tour last October.

The “Call My Name” hitmaker raised the money by a string of “meet and greet” session with her fans backstage on her 11-day “A Million Lights” solo tour, across the UK.

The former X Factor judge wrote on Twitter, “I am soo (sic) happy I just found out we raised £40,000 for my Cheryl Cole Foundation from our Vip meet and greet on the A Million Lights Tour.”

Cheryl, who is currently in a relationship with Tre Holloway, set up her charity foundation in 2011, to help deprived youngsters in her native town of Newcastle, North East of England.
