Cheryl Cole to The Rescue

Cheryl Cole has thrown fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue a lifeline – by threatening to quit The X Factor if Simon Cowell gives Danni the boot.

Show boss Simon Cowell has been seeking a replacement for the Australian beauty, 37, but Cheryl has now put a stop to his plans by REFUSING to sign her new contract until Danni Minogue gets hers.

It seems the Girls Aloud beauty was worried she may not like the new judge. Possible replacements which were in the running included Lily Allen (Who Cheryl has a long-running fued with), Charlotte Church (Another long-running feud) and Destiny’s Child superstar Kelly Rowland….who risked upstaging her.

A source said: “Cheryl told Simon straight — if it’s not her AND Dannii together, then he’s looking for TWO new stars. There’s no way he will let them both go.”

Cheryl Cole has been a huge hit with X Factor fans, and has attracted an additional 3 million viewers per week for the show. Cheryl replaced Sharon Osbourne on the ITV1 show in the last series. The source added: “The show was a bigger success than ever, and Simon knows a lot of that is down to Cheryl.”

We will have to wait and see what the outcome is, but i highly suspect Cheryl will get her own way, as Simon will do anything to keep the babe on the show. Plus its very obvious he fancies the pants off her!
