As filming for the new series of The X Factor kicks off, Cheryl Cole has spoken out about the moment her footballer husband Ashley Cole got down on one knee to propose to her.
The Girls Aloud babe has been married to the English & Chelsea premiership footballer, Ashley Cole for the past three years, after he proposed to her in Dubai.
“He was actually really scared asking me,” she reveals. “At the end of the day, you may know that someone loves you, but there’s never a guarantee what the answer is going to be to that question! So yeah, he was really nervous!“
Cheryl, who has just finished the hugely successful Out of Control Tour with her Girls Aloud bandmates, admits that she initially rejected him when he first asked her out: “I wasn’t interested at that moment in time,” she tells OK! Magazine.
