The 29-year-old singer told InStyle magazine July issue, that she wasn’t completely focused when she last appeared on the reality singing competition. She said that her last X Factor series was too hard for her and she wasn’t mentally right and fully focused on the show.
When asked if her boss Simon Cowell had requested her to return and rescue the show from its flagging ratings, Cheryl admitted she did meet Simon and become friends again, but the pair didn’t talk about the show’s flagging ratings as that would give the music mogul a “meltdown”.
The Call My Name singer also said that Girls Aloud has definitely split, referring to the possibility that the break up wasn’t final. She also ruled out the possibility that Girls Aloud will be reunited again in the future.
Cheryl is currently in a relationship with her dancer boyfriend Tre Holloway and last March she announced that she’s taking a six-month break from music to spend some time with her boyfriend in Los Angeles.
