After news that Cheryl Cole had cancelled her tell-all interview with Jonathan Ross recently, we’ve been inundated with comments and emails from fans disappointed we can’t hear Cheryl’s side of the story.
But that might be about to change, as the stunning X Factor judge is set to reveal the full story of her split with Ashley Cole to Piers Morgan.
The third series of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories kicked off on ITV1 last night with good friend Simon Cowell giving an emotion-filled interview with Piers, and it looks like Cheryl will follow Simon’s lead, doing a one-hour ITV special to be broadcast in May this year.
If the interview does go ahead, Cheryl TWEEDY will talk in detail for the first time about how Ashley cheated on her with five women. But don’t get your hopes up too soon folks. Cheryl had already agreed to the interview with Piers BEFORE her split with Ashley, in the exact same circumstances as her appearance on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross before she cancelled the gig.
Piers pitched the idea to Cheryl when they met at the National Television Awards in January, with Cheryl agreeing it would be a good idea and to put plans in motion to make it happen.
A source said: “She knows that Piers will handle it well. She feels safe in his hands. And she knows that if it is on TV, people can hear it from her direct in her own words.“
One last tidbit, despite Cheryl’s interview with Jonathan Ross being cancelled, she WILL be appearing on his show this Friday, performing her new single Parachute.
So what do you think folks. Will Cheryl go ahead with the Piers Morgan interview? Should she? Would you like to hear her side of the story??
