Recently in an interview with a national tabloid, Cheryl Cole‘s confirmed that she’s toughened up as a judge for the new series of The X Factor, which kicks off this Saturday.
After winning the show in her debut year with Alexandra Burke last year, Cheryl said she’s found the new format of the show, in having a live audience at auditions, a little hard to cope with.
“I’d just found my feet and then they change the format. But I’ve really enjoyed the new process and I’m more experienced as a judge, and in saying No,” Cheryl is quoted as saying.
She continued: “I struggled last year in saying no to people. This year, I’m more able to say no to people that don’t have what we’re looking for.“
It’s been rumored that Cheryl Cole is to mentor the male 16-24 category this year, and she’s confident she’ll secure a win again.
Meanwhile as the pressures took their toll on the Girls Aloud singer, a few weeks ago Cheryl was pictured leaving x factor auditions in the middle of the night looking physically and emotionally drained. Cheryl is reportedly taking this week off work to recharge her batteries, as she readies herself to go back into high-profile overdrive this weekend.
Cheryl’s mum, Joan has reportedly moved into Cheryl’s Surrey mansion, acting as a cook and cleaner for both Ashley and Cheryl. No doubt she’s also doing her best to ensure Cheryl is at her best for Saturday evening.
Be sure to tune in to X Factor this Saturday on ITV1 at 7pm.
