After spending a gruesome year in the media spotlight, Cheryl Cole is taking a break from the music scene.
The “Call My Name” hitmaker hardly took a break ever since she released her sixth solo record, “A Million Lights” in May last year, went on her own UK tour in October and later embarked on the Girls Aloud “Ten” reunion UK arena tour that ended on Saturday, March. 23. Following the end of their “Ten Greatest Hits” tour, Girls Aloud announced their split for good.
A source close to Cheryl claimed that as the tour has ended, she’s planning to take some time off and vanish from the limelight. She has ruled out on joining the X Factor as judge and is in no rush to record a new album.
Ever since she was discovered on the ITV talent show, Cheryl, 29, has spent the last ten years working with Girls Aloud, then embarked on successful solo career, signed up as judge for The X Factor and released her own autobiography last summer.
Now the Geordie beauty is planning to take a break from music for six months and spend time with her dancer boyfriend Tre Holloway in LA.
Anyways, we hope of seeing Cheryl heating up the music scene by the end of summer.
