Cheryl Cole ‘Urgently’ Wants ‘Mrs Cole’ Tattoo Removed From her Neck

Following her decision to call time on her marriage, heartbroken Cheryl Cole is planning to have her tattoo tribute to husband Ashley lasered off the back of her neck.

The sexy Girls Aloud singer has told pals that she wants the “Mrs C” tattoo removed from her neck “as a matter of urgency.”

Cheryl Cole is now prepared to fork out the hefty £2,000 fee to have the tattoo removed at a top clinic in Los Angeles, where she is expected to move permanently after the divorce goes through. The painful laser procedure will take upto 10 sessions to complete, and she’ll have to wait six weeks between each session.

A friend of Cheryl’s says: “Cheryl regrets having the tattoo done in the first place. As far as she’s concerned, there’s no going back and she wants to remove any trace of Ashley as soon as possible. She knows that having the tattoo removed will be painful. But she doesn’t want to be reminded of her cheating ex everytime she turns her back to the mirror. As soon as there’s a gap in her schedule, she’s going to start having the laser treatments.“

And sources at Cheryl’s record label say she wants to re-release her debut solo album, 3 Words in her maiden name of Cheryl Tweedy. She is weighing up whether or not to re-issue three-times platinum-selling record 3 Words. The album has already sold more than a million copies.

A source close to Cheryl’s record company Fascination: “Cheryl told record label bosses just before she jetted out to LA that she’s thinking about the name change. If the album is re-released later this year that would be ideal time to do it.“
