Our Cheryl Cole is no stranger to receiving awards and topping polls, so it was no surprise when we heard she’s been voted Worlds Sexiest Woman for the second year in a row by FHM.
Newly-single Cheryl Cole – estimated to be worth £10 million – beat off stiff competition from the likes of Megan Fox and Marissa Miller. The X Factor judge is the first Brit to top FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World Poll.
The highest new entry in the chart is Twilight actress Kristen Stewart – who finished in sixth place. Kelly Brook and Keeley Hazell – both of whom have appeared on the list in recent years – also made the top 10.
Cheryl Cole split from husband Ashley Cole in February after he was caught out cheating with up to 5 women, and texting saucy pictures of himself to many more. Despite her very-public heartache, she has launched her chart-topping solo career and continued to wow on The X Factor with huge praise from the press and public alike.
This year FHM received more than one million votes from its readers worldwide. FHM editor-in-chief Colin Kennedy said: “That other election might be a close-run thing but this equally important poll was so one-sided this year that some bookies have already paid out on Cheryl Cole
“After hogging the headlines and dominating TV screens for 12 months solid, the nation’s sweetheart romped home for a second successive year, leaving all challengers in her curvaceous wake.”
He continued: “With very strong showings for Frankie Sandford and hot newcomers like Twilight star Kristen Stewart, perhaps Cheryl should start looking over that perfectly sculpted shoulder. Or at least, showing a bit more leg.”
