X Factor babe Cheryl Cole has reportedly just started working on an R&B solo album.
The Girls Aloud stunner is said to be keen on recording music with more similar tastes to her own. The babe has previously collaborated with Will.i.am on ‘Heartbreaker’ and is said to be working with MIKA on a number of tracks.
A source at Heat Magazine said: “The solo stuff Cheryl’s been working on is R&B-based, as that’s her favourite kind of music, her influences are artists like Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige, so she wants to keep that soulful vibe.”
Earlier this year though a national tabloid fuelled speculation that Cheryl Tweedy wanted to launch a career in America after talking with Simon Cowell and his record label executives.
Cheryl Cole is currently in rehearsals with her Girls Aloud bandmates preparing for their forthcoming ‘Out of Control Tour‘ which kicks off next Friday, April 24th in Manchester’s MEN Arena.
