Girls Aloud babe Cheryl Cole has told one national tabloid how dancing in heels on stage every night leaves her in “absolute agony” after she injured her big toe.
Cheryl’s big toenail on her left foot turned black a few months ago whilst she was training for her Comic Relief trek up Mount Kilimanjaro, which raised millions of pounds for BBC’s Children In Need Appeal.
A doctor at the time was forced to drill a hole in her toenail to relieve the pressure, but the pain has intensified since going back on tour with Girls Aloud on their Out of Control Tour.
Cheryl commented on the issue by saying: “When I was training, my boots were too tight — which put pressure on my toe. It was growing off, but now it’s built up again and it’s hurting like hell every night.”
The X Factor judge also admitted she gets very embarrassed at having to pole dance along to Britney Spears’ Womanizer as part of Girls Aloud’s raunchy show.
The five-piece girl-band currently perform their stripper-style routine, dressed in skintight PVC dominatrix costumes on their current tour. But she said: “I must confess, I feel very uncomfortable with that routine.”
But Cheryl is ever-the-professional, and will go on with the show as normal. Click here for more Girls Aloud Out of Control Tour Pictures.
