Mel B has issued Cheryl Cole a word of warning about cracking the States.
The former Spice Girl, who is currently starring in burlesque production Peepshow in Las Vegas, has stressed the Girls Aloud star should get her vocal chords in order.
Mel – who starred on US hit TV show Dancing With The Stars – told Closer: “I hear Cheryl Cole has been having meetings out here in America lately, and wants to get some work in the States.
“I don’t know her, and I don’t know how well she sings, but Brits can do really well out here if you have determination, drive and talent – and it seems she has it!”
She adds: “The only advice I’d give Cheryl is that out here, you have to prove yourself.
“You can’t just come out and tell everyone you’re going to be a star – she’ll need to entertain people.
“If she’s going to sing, then she should get her vocal chords in order and blast herself off with a big show.”
Well if anyone has guts and determination, it’s Cheryl Cole.
