Cheryl Cole’s recent album, A Million Lights has been witnessing falling sales this week, with only 8000 copies going off the shelves.
Not promoting the album on The X Factor, the album didn’t make it to the number one position when released first last month in May. Although the album has been in the Top 10 list, it plummeted a further ten spots this week according to charts.
Despite Call My Name, the lead single of the album has been a massive hit making it the year’s fastest in sales; Cheryl’s new solo album is being surpassed by Grammy winner, Adele’s 21 which was released way back in January 2011.
Nonetheless, Cheryl’s new single, Under The Sun is due to be released. So the former Girls Aloud star can hope her album sales go up.
Besides, Cheryl is all set for her fully fledged debut solo tour coming October. A Million Lights tour will also the O2 Arena in London as one of its tour venues.
Tickets for the tour are now on sale.
