Cowell: Dannii & Cheryl Dont Get On

Warring X Factor babes Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue are trying to put the past behind them as they start work on this years series of The X Factor.

There was a lot of reports last year that Dannii Minogue, 37, struggled to come to terms with the glamorous newcomer, Cheryl Cole, 25. She insisted at the time that Cheryl stole all of the shows limelight and was reportedly getting more airtime than Dannii.

I’m not sure they will be able to bury the hatchet this year, especially how we emerged last week that Cheryl Cole is being paid THREE times more than Dannii this year, and will take home a massive £1.2million pound paycheck, whilst Dannii will take home only £450,000.

With that being said, show boss Simon Cowell insists the girls are pulling together. He said: “Girls are girls right, they all want to be centre of attention. I don’t thin anybody has ever ended up as best friends, but they don’t hate each other. In fact actually no, i think they like each other now…ish“

Hi did, however, admit they’re never going to socialise outside of the show or become best friends. He told GMTV “They’re not going to go on holiday together, but you know, they’ve got to do the job they’re being paid to do – which is judge a TV talent show“

With all this talk of rivalry between the girls, we must remember the rivalry between the shows boss, Simon Cowell and judge Louis Walsh. Simon flashed his bright pearly whites, whilst joking that Louis’ teeth have turned grey after he tried to whiten them.

He joked: “Louis had his teeth done. No, I’m being serious. He went to my dentist, it hasn’t been the success he was hoping for because where i use a white chart, he used a grey chart and I’m being serious his teeth are straight but they are grey“
