Expert: ‘Cheryl Cole wants to show cheeky side’

Cheryl Cole is making lots of changes to her life right now, as she advances her career from member in a girl band into pop superstar in her own right. She’s also, of course, working on her TV career as she returns to our screens as X Factor judge later this month.

Only last week, Cheryl Cole Dyed her Hair Red, and the reason? Because she wants to show her “mischievous side“, according to a body language expert. The X Factor babe showed off her new hair as she went on a night out on the town in London.

Body language commentator, Judi James, who has appeared on Big Brother’s Little Brother, where she analysed the housemates body language, is suggesting that Cheryl opted for the image change because she is keen to change the public’s perception of her personality.

“It’s a sign of confidence – a cheeky way of saying” ‘Don’t take me for granted’. It’s the colour of love but also of aggression. It suggests passion but also danger – a red alert,” Judi told a national tabloid.

She continued: “Cheryl and other women who dye their hair red are letting the world know they’re no pushover. It’s the complete opposite to the girly playfulness of blonde hair.“

The expert also added tat Cheryl Cole’s success as a judge on The X Factor may have given her the confidence to choose red locks for the first time.

She said: “Selecting that colour implies someone who sees herself at the peak of her career, someone who’s announcing they are their own boss and on top of their game. Dyeing your hair is a way of telling people that you want to be seen differently. You’re up for a bit of bad behaviour – and you know you can get away with it.“

Cheryl Cole recently admitted that she “really likes” her new colour, and the REAL reason is she felt she “needed a change.” Cheryl didn’t say it was anything to do with wanting to “show her mischievous side.“
