CHEEKY Ant and Dec have taken a swipe at "desperate" Louis Walsh's appearance on Britain's Got Talent.
The Geordie hosts didn't hold back as they handed out their verdict on bumbling X Factor judge Louis, who was called on to fill in for Simon Cowell when he was struck down with flu for the Birmingham auditions in February.
They joked on their blog: "There was a space on the panel that desperately needed to be filled. And who else can desperately fill a space quite like Louis Walsh?!"
They even compared the Irish music mogul to a supply teacher and reckon regular panellists Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden were like naughty school kids around him.
They added: "The other two, Piers and Amanda, were like school kids when the proper teacher is away and you've got a supply teacher in, they were quite mischievous.
"It was actually quite nice to have Louis around the place for a few days, and I think he enjoyed being out of his sheltered accommodation for a bit, bless him!"
And they agreed with Piers and Amanda who both said Louis was a big over-eager on the buzzer and could barely control himself.
They quipped: "Boy oh boy, he absolutely loved that buzzer didn't he? He couldn't get enough of it - watch out for him bringing his own buzzer along to next year's X Factor auditions!"
