Othelio will no longer take part in Britain's Got Talent.

The duo were dropped after producers discovered singer Deborah Stephens was linked to a double murder in 1992.
According to reports, Mrs Stephens was present during the attack on two men, but played no part in the killings.
A show spokeswoman said it was felt Othelio should not continue, he decision was made after The Sun reportedthat Mrs Stephens witnessed her former partner attack two men at theflat they shared in Fife - He was later found guilty and received alife sentence.
Relatives of the victims complained about Mrs Stephens appearance, though she was not involved with the murder. A Britain's Got Talent spokeswoman said: "I canconfirm that Othelio won't be progressing further on the show. We havea duty of care and felt it was best they didn't continue."

I read on The Sun the other day. unbelievable.

I didn't see the act, so don't know just how bad it was, but how could they go on such a public show, and expect that something that big in their past would not come out.

They were the ones that said they had sent Simon a demo agessss ago and he spoke to the guy on the phone and told him that there was no way he would get a record deal! And the guy sang a kinda catchy song whilst his wife wailed in the background LOL!
