Cheryl and Ashley: Megan
"Right, Cheryl you plug in your headphones, so you don't hear anything, Kimberley you hold on to Cheryl and Nicola, your going to have to carry Megan, were going to pull up outside the air port, so we'll have to run- well try and run through from the airport door to the nearest lift, now it isn't far, but with all the paparazzi asking questions, it will take a bit longer. Okay girls?" Hillary explained to Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola what they had to do. Ashley Cole had just apparently cheated on Cheryl, so the three girls where jetting off to Marbella together, along with Cheryl and Ashley's four year old daughter, Megan. The only thing in the way of the four girls and the plain where the paparazzi, all trying to get pictures and information from Cheryl, though her wedding ring was off, they wanted to know what had happened, and would Cheryl and Ashley want to get back together. Cheryl had headphones to block out the questions from the paparazzi, as did Megan, she didn't really know what had happened with her mummy and daddy, she just thought she was going on holiday with her mummy and two aunties. So she had to have headphones to block out any talk of Ashley. "I'm ready, you ready?" Nicola's voice went a bit high pitched as she spoke to little Megan, making her laugh, as she sat in her car seat opposite her "Yes, mummy and Kimmi ready?" Megan asked, as she put a lolly into her mouth, she was sat wearing little sunglasses, and a sun hat looking ready for a holiday "Yeah were ready" Kimberley looked at Cheryl, feeling sorry for her, but Cheryl kept her silence, with a nod and a slight smile "Right" Hillary got ready to open her door as they pulled up outside the air port, Cheryl began to feel very sick as she placed her headphones in her ears, and looked out the window, seeing all the paparazzi waiting, she pulled on her shades and began to open her car door.
Meanwhile, Nicola helped Megan put her headphones in her little ears, before putting her own shades on, she opened her door, before un-clipping Megan's seatbelt and getting her out of the car. Kimberley followed Cheryl out of her door.
The three girls tried to run through, the swarm of paparazzi "Cheryl...Cheryl what's happening with you and Ashley" One asked "Is it true you're meeting up in a secret location?" Another asked "Are you going there now" Asked a third, but they got no response, Cheryl just looked at Megan as Nicola carried her to the lift, her eyes began to fill with tears, behind her shades, as she watched how innocent Megan was, she was right at the centre of all of this, her mum and dad where worlds apart and she had no idea what was going on. She managed to hold her tears in her eyes, until they reached the lift.........
[hide] "Mummy......" Megan watched from the comfort of Nicola's arms as Kim hugged Cheryl, whilst she cried "What's the matter with mummy?" Megan whispered into Nicola's ear "Mummy's just a bit tired" Nicola whispered so that Cheryl and Kimberley could hear "Mummy, it's okay, Meg's (she refereed to herself) tired to, we can have a sleep on the zoom zoom" She stroked the side of Cheryl's hair as she softly spoke, the zoom zoom being the aeroplane of course. Cheryl wiped her eyes and looked up "Yeah, mummy's just being silly, isn't she" Cheryl put on a fake smile "We can sleep mummy" Megan nodded before yawning, and resting her head over Nicola's shoulder....

"Kimmi" Megan began as they sat on the private plain whilst Cheryl was in the toilet "What's the matter babe?" Kimberley asked "Erm... Where's my daddy?" She asked, as she tried to get to sleep "He had to stay at home and look after Buster and Coco didn't he" She lied "Buster and Coco, but I want him here" She winged "But we couldn't bring the dog's with us, could we" Kimberley remained her, "But I want my daddy though" Megan kicked her blanket off of her and pulled her dummy out "Megan come on" Kimberley, tried to calm her down, as she began to cry "I'll check on Cheryl" Nicola told Kimberley "Kimmi" Megan cried as she hugged Kimberley, "Look, you'll see daddy again, when we go home wont you?" She asked, slightly rocking Megan as she sat sideways on her lap, leaning against her "Yeah" Megan cried "You need to be a good girl for mummy, cos she's feeling a bit ill and tired yeah, can you do that for her?" She asked, holding Megan's dummy by her mouth, Megan opened her mouth and took the dummy, before nodding at Kimberley "Good girl, you gonna go to sleep?" Kimberley asked her nicely, Megan nodded and rested her head on Kimberley's chest, whilst pulling her blanket back over her, so she would sleep "Good girl" Kimberley gave Megan a small kiss on the head, before allowing her to fall asleep on her lap...
Cheryl and Nicola emerged from the toilet, Cheryl with blood shot eyes, as she looked at Kimberley and Megan "You okay?" She asked "Yeah, I just got her off for you" Kimberley smiled "Thank you" Cheryl smiled slightly, though she didn't have her husband, she knew she all ways had her friends, they where and would all ways be there for her, whenever she needed them, and even when she didn't, they would still be there "Want a drink?" Nicola asked "Aye, go on then" Cheryl smiled slightly again, "Right one sec then" Nicola stood up and walked over to the bar. Pouring three alcoholic drinks, before wandering back over "Here's, to freedom, fun and friends" Cheryl smiled "Freedom, fun and friends" They all repeated, quietly so the didn't wake Megan....
"Megan, baby, it's time to wake up" Cheryl gently stroked the side of Megan's cheek, and brung her out of her sleep "Mummy" She whispered, as she woke up "Come on, where here now" Cheryl smiled, Megan looked around, and to her surprise she wasn't on Kimberley's lap, but in a buggy, in a very strange room "Where mummy?" She creased up her nose, just as Cheryl does "Aaw where at the hotel, but you need to wake up, or you wont sleep tonight" Cheryl smiled "No mummy" Megan moaned, putting her dummy back into her mouth she tried to pull her cover over her face "Come on, we can go swimming" Cheryl whispered, as she leaned in and kissed the side of her cheek "Yey swimming!" Megan shouted, throwing her arms up in the air, "God, she's perked up" Nicola laughed as did Kimberley "Nic and Kimmi, come?" She asked "Yeah were coming, don't you worry" Kimberley smiled "Come on babe, let's get you dressed yeah?" Cheryl unclipped the push chair, that Megan was sat in "Yeah!" Megan shouted, as she got exited...
Down at the pool Megan was trying to swim off, though she wasn't a very strong swimmer "Megan, not down there it's too deep" Cheryl told her "Okay mummy" She replied, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola sat on stools in the pool, in a circle as Megan swam around them "Can we get an ice cream later mummy?" Megan asked "Yeah, we'll get one in a bit" Cheryl smiled, before getting back to her conversation with Kim and Nic, "So, tomorrow, we can go to the beach, then what?" Nicola asked "Then Wednesday were taking Megan to the water park" Kimberley smiled "Then Thursday, we'll just do whatever" Cheryl smiled "Sounds good to me" Nicola agreed "Sounds very good" Kimberley replied "****! I did bring sun cream didn't I?" Nicola thought out loud "Yeah I'm pretty sure you did, I got some if not" Kimberley, ever the organised one smiled "Well, I've got loads too" Cheryl chuckled slightly "Mummmmy....." There conversation was interrupted by the sound of Megan calling Cheryl "****! Megan!" Cheryl gasped, as she got up and looked around for her "Mummy, over here" She was in the middle of the pool, half way in, up to her neck with water "Megan!" She called, as she swam over to her, closely followed by Nicola and Kimberley, Cheryl pushed past other holiday makers, that got into her way, the closer she got, the louder Megan's coughing and splattering seemed to get, finally she reached her, pulling her out of the water, and sitting her on the side of the pool so Megan could finally breath, at first she began coughing, she must have swallowed a load of water, and not been able to swim and cough at the same time, Cheryl began to pat her back, in a bid to help Megan clear her chest....
"Megan, I told you not to go down there" Cheryl told her when she finally stopped coughing and started to breath normally again "Sorry mummy" Megan began to cry "Aaw come here, don't cry, Cheryl pulled her back into the water, holding her on her hip, she brushed the hair out of Megan's eyes and gave her a kiss on the head "This is why you stay with me and Kimmi and Nic" Cheryl told her "Sorry" Megan apologised again, still crying "That's okay, now, just stay here, with me and take it easy yeah?" Cheryl asked "No, mummy, I want to get out" She cried harder and louder "Okay, lets go" Cheryl kissed her head again, as she shook with fear........

"Mummy" Megan cried as she awoke in the middle of the night. Cheryl forced herself out of bed, after waking up from a terrible dream of walking in on Ashley and another woman, it was the worst nightmare ever. "Shhh... Megs, mummy's here now" Cheryl sat next to Megan on her bed "Mummy" She continued to cry "Wanna sleep in my bed?" Cheryl asked, still thinking about her dream "Yeh" Megan wiped her eyes "Come on then" She put her hand out for Megan to take, before picking up her dummy and teddy and going back into her bed.
"What's the matter, did you have a bad dream?" Cheryl asked "Yeh mummy" Megan shrugged and whined "Aaw what happened" Cheryl lay down, letting Megan rest her head on her "Water" She sighed, putting her hand in Cheryl's indicating that she was scared "Like in the swimming pool earlier?" Cheryl asked "Yeah, but you and daddy wasn't there" She told her "Aaw baby I'm here now though aren't I" She told her, Megan looked at what would have been Ashley's side of the bed "Yeh, but not daddy" She cried "Daddy's looking after Buster and Coco though isn't he" Cheryl reminded her, Megan just nodded, Cheryl looked as if she was going to cry"Mummy, why are you sad?" Megan asked her softly, in the sweetest little voice "I'm not sad" She wiped away her eyes "Are they happy crys?" She asked "Yeah, happy crys" Cheryl creased up her nose slightly as she tried to hide her true feelings "Why are they happy crys? I just woke you up?" She asked a little high pitched "Because I'm happy because you're here and Kimberley's here, and Nicola's here" Cheryl smiled "Do you miss daddy?" Megan asked "Yeah" Cheryl replied "And that makes you bad crys?" She asked "Yes it does" Cheryl actually really did mean this, she was missing Ashley and she did just want him back, but the old faithful Ashley that she loved and trusted "Well, don't cry mummy, cos I'm here and Kimberley's here and Nicola's here" Megan smiled as she copped what Cheryl had just said "Yeah, you are" She smiled "And you're tired again?" Megan asked "Yeah mummy's tired too" Cheryl told her "I'm not tired" Megan smiled before yawning "Oh really" Cheryl giggled at her "No" Megan replied, as she popped her dummy in her mouth "Love you lots mummy" She smiled "Love you too Megs" Cheryl also smiled, as she brushed her fingers through Megan's soft brown hair, just like her own.
Next morning all the girls where getting ready to go to the beach, Nicola was in her room getting to her bikini, Cheryl was in the bathroom doing her make up and Kimberley was in the main room with Megan, making sure they had packed everything "Kimmi do we go in the sea?" She asked "If you want" Kim replied as she made sure everyone had sandwiches Megan shook her head as she swung her legs off the side of the table she was perched on "No?" Kimberley tilted her head, pouted and frowned as she does "Don't like it" She told her "Aaw, you know if you stay with us, you'll be okay" She tried to reassure her, but Megan shook her head again "Okay" She smiled.
Nicola soon emerged from her room, eating some chocolate "Want some?" She asked the girls "No I'm okay thanks" Kimberley smiled "Megs?" Nicola asked "Yes please auntie Nic Nic" She grinned, holding out her hand "Nicola, she's just brushed her teeth" Kimberley told her "Aaw, well it wont hurt" Nicola smiled as she handed the chocolate to Megan "Naa I'm sure it will be fine" Kimberley smiled
Just then there was a knock at the door "Oh it's probably just the cleaners, just tell them where going out so they can clean, while where gone" Kimberley told Nicola, as she wandered off into the kitchen. Nicola went to the door and opened it, "Daddyyy!" Megan cheered as Ashley stood at the door "What do you want?" Nicola plucked up the courage to ask "Well I came here to see my little princess didn't I" Ashley spoke to Megan as he lent down and held his arms out for her, Megan placed her chocolate on the table and ran into Ashley's arms, who then picked her up "I missed you" He smiled placing a small kiss on Megan's cheek "Daddy, we went on a big zoom zoom" Megan told him "A big zoom zoom, did you" He smiled "Yeah, but you was looking after Buster and Coco wasn't you" She sighed "Yeah but I came to see you though didn't I" He smiled "And mummy too?" She asked "Yeah and your mummy" He told her "Where is she by the way?" Ashley turned to Nicola as she stood by the door "Nic whose at the door?" Cheryl asked as she walked through, totally at the wrong time "Erm..." Nicola didn't know what to do or say "Cheryl" Ashley began "Daddy came back" Megan smiled "So I see, Megs can you go and help Kimmi please?" Cheryl asked "Daddy" She sighed, hugging him tighter and turning to rest her head on his shoulder, "Come on, do what mummy says, yeah I'm still here" Ashley told her, before putting her down. She skipped off into the kitchen, with out a care in the world. Nicola decided to follow and leave the couple to it......
"Well?" Cheryl asked "I just wanted to see my girls that's all" He told her "Well, you've seen us, now can you leave us alone please" Cheryl firmly told him, as thoughts of last night's dream began to fill her head "Cheryl... Please?" He asked "Ashley, just go, I don't want to know" She told him "Well, at least let me see Megan, if not for my sake for her's" He asked, there was nothing she could do, he had just manipulated the whole situation "Well, where are you going to take her?" She asked, "Just down stairs for a swim" He begged "No she doesn't like the water, it scares her" She told him "Just to go and get an ice cream then, please I just want to see my daughter" He told her "Well, you should have though about that before you..." Everything suddenly went silent "Megan" Cheryl decided to break the tense silence "Yes mummy" Megan came out of the kitchen and into the main room, closely followed by Nicola and Kimberley "Your off with daddy to get an ice cream" She told her "Yay! Daddy!!!" She smiled walking over to Ashley, he picked her up again "1 ice cream, then come back, because were going out" She told Ashley "Right" He replied "20 minutes max" She demaanded "Can I get a pink one?" Megan asked "Okay, and yes you can have what ever one you like Megs" Ashley replied to them both "Yay, bye bye mummy and Kimmi and Nic Nic" Megan smiled "Bye" Kimberly and Nicola put fake smiles on for her "Bye" Cheryl smiled "Mummy" Megan called, Cheryl slowly walked over to her and Ashley, and gave her a small kiss on the cheek, this was the closest Cheryl and Ashley had been since the whole story had come out, and again Megan was right in the middle of it all "Mummy daddy kiss" She told them, the whole room went silent with atmosphere "No everyone's watching" Cheryl lied as she pretended to get all embarrassed "You two kiss later" She smiled "Yeah" Ashley replied, before they said goodbyes and left...............

Later on that day Ashley had left and Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola where at the beach with Megan. "I cant believe he actually had the nerve to come and ****ing find us!" Cheryl felt herself well up, "Well at least you've told him to go back home now and to be honest I think he will" Kimberley tried to cheer her friend up as they lay on loungers, watching Megan play in the sand "Yeah she's right Chez, I think he'll go now" Nicola added "Why thank you for agreeing with me my friend" Kimberley joked "No problemo" Nicola laughed, they where trying to cheer Cheryl up "But girls, I mean we cant hide out here for ever, and clearly where not really hiding any more, now he knows where we are" Cheryl wiped away a tear, in a bit to hold it all in "I know, but let's just concentrate on this holiday, we'll sort it all out when we get home okay" Kimberley smiled as she took Cheryl's hand "Yeah" Cheryl put on a slight smile, whilst hiding her blood shot eyes behind her shades
"Nic Nic, can I have some sun cream?" Megan came running over as Nicola got some sun cream out from her bag, "Yeah, course you can babe" Nicola smiled, as she began to spray Megan's right arm "Hang on, don't you want to go in the see?" She asked as she pulled the spray away "Noo! I don't like it" Megan was quick to answer "Okay hun, not to worry" Nicola took back her arm and delicately rubbed the sun cream into her soft skin.
　
"What's wrong with her and the sea, she asked if she has to go in this morning, bless her, she loves it doesn't she?" Kimberley asked, a bit puzzled, when Megan went back to play in the sand "No, I think she was really scared yesterday, she woke up last night, with a nightmare and she said it was about water" Cheryl explained "Aaw that's horrible, poor thing" Nicola replied, with a sympathetic smile as she watched Megan play "Aaw..." Kimberley sighed "Yeah I know, hopefully it's just a phase and she's not put off for life though" Cheryl added.
Later that night the three girls where sitting out on their balcony, drinking wine as the sun set, when they heard Megan crying, Cheryl stood up and went off into her room "Aaw Megs, what's the matter baby?" Cheryl asked "Water again" She continued to cry "Oh come here" Cheryl lifted her up and took her out onto the balcony "What happened this time?" Cheryl asked as they sat on a lounger together "Daddy and you was there, then daddy went away and lost him, then I went swimming and got stuck in the middle again" She continued to cry, as Cheryl wrapped her cardigan around her, to stop her from shivering "Aaw baby, it's okay, I'm here now aren't I yeah, it was just a horrible, horrible naughty dream" Cheryl comforted her "Yeah, but daddy's not here again" She cried more and more "He went home, but at least he did come and see you" She told her "Mummy, where's your ring?" Megan asked, as Cheryl stroked the side of her face "I had to take it off because it's too big and I don't want it to fall of because I'd end up losing it" She told her "Daddy still got his, and he said he misses us" She smiles "Well there you go then" Cheryl replied "Are you going to happy cry again?" She asked "No, I'm not going to happy cry "Or miss daddy cry" She asked, this time Cheryl didn't say anything, she just shook her head "What?" Megan asked, as she couldn't see (her head was resting against Cheryl's chest) "No" She replied "Mummy, I'm tired" Megan yawned "You gonna go to sleep?" Cheryl asked "Not in bed" She replied worried "Just fall asleep here then yeah" Cheryl asked "Yes nun-night" Her eyes began to slowly shut "Love you" Cheryl kissed the top of her head "Love you too mummy" She whispered, as Nicola and Kimberley sat quietly talking to one and other.
Next morning Cheryl awoke on her bed, with Megan laying next to her "You gonna come swimming with us today at a big swimming park?" Cheryl asked "Noo mummy no" Megan sounded scared again "Okay, well we'll just go, but we wont go in the water okay?" Cheryl asked, Megan simply nodded in reply...
When they arrived they where surrounded by water slides and floats, loads and loads of them, and they had many different pools tool. They found a little children's pool and set up their towels beside it "We going in?" Nicola asked "Naa, I cant" Cheryl nodded at Megan "Come on babe" Kimberley smiled at Megan, you gonna try?" She asked, but Megan simply raised her arms, for Kimberley to pick her up "Aaw, come on then we'll try together?" Kimberley whispered in her ear "But only if Kimmi carries me?" She asked "Okay then come on" She replied, slowly walking into the water, leaving Cheryl and Nicola to get ready by the pool "Noooo!" Megan screached as the water rose above Kimberley's stomach, and past Megan's legs "Okay, we'll turn back" Kimberley quickly reassured her, but it was to late, Megan was all ready crying "Noo mummy" She cried "All right here she is, look" Kimberley pointed to Cheryl as she and Nicola began to walk in, "Mummy" She cried, putting her arms out to her "Aaw baby, come here" Cheryl held out her arms, "No" Megan looked down at the water and cried again, she didn't know what she wanted, she was just terrified "Come on, you two can stay in here and I'll look after her then we'll swap, if you want?" Kimberley asked, the other two agreed. "Right come on then" Kimberley tried to soothe Megan as she carried her out of the pool.
"Mummy" She still cired, as Kimberley dried her off with a towel, before wrapping it around her "Mummy's just swimming with auntie Nic Nic, okay?" Kimberley asked, as she tried to put Megan on the floor, but she just carried on holding on, tighter "Okay, lets walk around the pool" She began walking around, until stopping at the side to see Cheryl and Nicola "Mummy" Megan wiped her eyes "Shall we sit down on the floor?" Kim asked "No" Megan shook her head "Right, are you gonna let me and Nic swim, then I'll come out and sit with you, yeah?" Cheryl asked, to which Megan nodded, "See you in a bit then" Kim smiled "What if we go and get a big float?" Kim asked, but Megan shook her head "What about a rubber dingy, like a little boat then?" She asked "A boat?" Megan asked "Yeah like a little boat that floats on the water, then we pull you along in it?" Kimberley asked "Yeah a boat" She smiled, still holding on tightly to Kimberley, with a few tears streaming down her face, and they went off in search for a boat......
When they returned with the boat all ready blown up, Kimberley put it onto the water, before placing Megan in it and getting in the water herself, she tied the end of the rope to her wrist and began to pull, and look for Cheryl and Nicola....
The girls where now sat at home after their busy day out "Mummy" Megan whispered "What's the matter" Cheryl asked "I want to go home" She continued to whisper as Nicola and Kim where watching the TV "We are, in two days time" Cheryl smiled "Well, we can start packing tomorrow yeah?" Kimberley smiled "Yeh, Kimmi and Nic Nic and mummyyy..." She smiled "Yeah" they all replied at once "I love you all" She smiled "Aaw we love you too" Cheryl grinned "Yeah we do" Kimberley added "We really do, your our special little niece aren't you" Nicola added "Yeah" She smiled, placing her dummy in her mouth "Buster and Coco and Daddy are waiting for us aren't they" She replied "Yeah they are babe" Cheryl replied, feeling like she was going to cry again "I like it better when there's all of us, and Deny and Sarah too" She added "Not long now babe" Nicola smiled "No long now Kimmi" She told her "No not long, just tomorrow then you go to bed, then we go home when you wake up again yeah?" Kimberley told her "Yey" Megan cheered making Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola laugh.

Next day the girls where all in the hotel packing away their things, as they promised Megan “What's wrong Babe?� Nicola asked Cheryl as she watched Megan sleeping on the sofa “I feel like it's my fault that she's having all these nightmares, I mean if I didn't decide to leave the country with her, she wouldn't be missing him, and we would all be at home, and she would never have nearly drown and she wouldn't be scared of water, then she wouldn't have these dreams and they're all ways about me and him not being there for her when she's in trouble, I mean I know she's only a child, but she's caught well and truly in the middle of this, and it really is effecting her, isn't it?� Cheryl sighed “Well, not really, cos if he didn't do what he did you wouldn't have had to come her with us all then she wouldn't have nearly drown and so on and so forth, look just don't beat yourself up about it, but I know what you mean. She knows something's not right doesn't she?� Nicola replied “You know what, I think she does, so when we go home I think you've just got to be there for her and show her that you and Ashley are both there, then hopefully she'll get used to it, have you decided what you're going to do about him yet?� Kimberley asked “No, not yet, I mean what ever happens, I know we both have to have custody of her, else she'll just be like this for ever� Cheryl sighed, knowing their future was all now in her hands “So what are you going to do then? He'll want to know as soon as we touch down in the UK� Nicola asked “No, you know what, I'm going to make him wait, and see what happens, I don't know what I'm doing, and I don't know how I feel, so I'm just going to keep my ring off, he can live at his brothers, then when I know what I want to do I'll do it, he's still got his ring on, but I want to see if he'll ever take it off� Cheryl decided “Good idea� Nicola agreed “Then if he keeps it on you know for sure how he feels, and if he takes it off?� Kimberley asked “Then it's over isn't it?� A tear rolled down Cheryl's cheek “Come here� Kimberley pulled her in for a hug, and Nicola joined “It's gonna be okay now, you know, you've just gotta see where your heading, and be willing and ready to go� Kimberley told her “Haha that sounds like a little song lyric� Cheryl smiled, though she was still crying “Mummy, what's the matter?� Megan asked as she awoke “Mummy's just a little sleepy and wants to go home, that's all� Nicola smiled “Are they naughty tears� She asked “A little bit, but mummy will be okay, wont she ay?� She replied “Yeah, can I have a cuddle too?� She asked as her eyes slowly filled up with tears too “Aaw, course you can� Nicola pulled away from the other girls and picked Megan up, as she also began to cry, “Aaw, baby don't you cry too� Cheryl put her arms out to Megan, before holding her in her arms “Mummy it will be okay, you know� She smiled “I know, it will all be okay in the end ay?� Cheryl replied, with her hand on Megan's head as she berried it in her neck “Yeah� Megan cried a bit more “Shh, don't cry� Cheryl bounced up and down slightly, trying to get her to stop crying “And you two hug� Megan spoke to Kimberley and Nicola, so they turned the hug into a group hug...

That afternoon Nicola and Kimberley where trying to cheer Cheryl up as she still felt down “What if I end up a single mum, with his child, god, why did I have to get pregnant so young?â€� Cheryl moaned, Nicola looked up at the entrance to the room, to see Megan standing there “No I didn't mean thatâ€� Cheryl replied, not realising that Megan was at the door, she ran off back into her room, looking upset “Hang on girlsâ€� Nicola replied, wandering off to find Megan “Megs, she didn't mean it, honestlyâ€� She tried to get Megan's attention as she lay on her bed, Nicola sat next to her and rubbed her shoulder with her hand “Come on, mummy's not feeling very happy at the moment is she, and she didn't mean to say thatâ€� Nicola continued “What did she say it for?â€� Megan rolled over and cried “Sometimes, Megan, grown ups do things or say things that they really don't mean, and they just happen, like when they're sad, they will maybe say something like mummy did, but they don't actually mean to say it do theyâ€� Nicola told her “What do you mean?â€� She asked “I mean, if mummy was happy she wouldn't have said it, but she's upset isn't she, so she said it, and she did say after woods that she shouldn't have said it and she didn't mean it didn't sheâ€� She told her “Okay, but I want my daddyâ€� Megan cried “I know, and you're seeing him tomorrow when we go home aren't youâ€� She replied “Okay, can we make mummy better so she doesn't say horrible things?â€� Megan asked in  her cute voice “Yeah, what shall we do for her?â€� She asked “Don't know make her smile nice againâ€� She replied “Erm.. Okay, we can make her a cake?â€� Nicola asked “Yay a cakeâ€� Megan smiled “Okay, we'll make it now, cos we should have the stuff in the kitchen then we'll give it to her later, are we gonna write something on the cake?â€� Nicola asked “Yey,  it can say I love  mummyâ€� Megan began to dry her eyes, and Nicola now felt really terrible for what Cheryl had said “Can I have a hug?â€� Nicola asked “Yeah Nic Nicâ€� Megan through her arms around Nicola's neck, as they hugged “Good girlâ€� She smiled, giving her a light kiss on her cheek...

“Mummy, we maked you something� Megan grinned as she found Cheryl and Kimberley watching the TV “Ooh what is it?� Cheryl asked “A prise mummy, in the kitchen, come and see� She pulled her hand, so that she stood up from the sofa “And you Kmmi� Megan smiled “I'm coming� Kimberley stood up, and followed Cheryl and Megan into the kitchen...

“Aaw wow, you two have been buisy� Cheryl smiled “We maked a caked mummy, to make you smile nice again� Megan smiled, as Cheryl picked her up, so she could see the cake that was sat on the bench “Wow, that's really good babe� She smiled, looking at the chocolate cake, covered in white icening, it said 'I Love Mummy' on it in pink “Aaw mummy� Megan smiled, as she put her fingers in Cheryl's dimples, making her laugh “Can we eat it?� Megan asked, making the girls laugh “Hmm... I don't know, what do you think?� She asked “Erm.. I think yes mummy� She smiled “Go on then� Cheryl replied, as Kimberley got some plates out, Nicola got a knife out and began to cut it..

“Is it yummy?� Megan yawned as she sat back in her chair “Yes, it's lovely, aren't you going to finish your's?� Cheryl asked, pointing to Megan's left overs that where sat on the table in a little pink plastic bowl “Noo� She sighed, wiping her eyes “You tired Megs?� Kimberley asked “No Kimmi� She laughed “Oh I think someone's telling porkies� Nicola laughed “No� Megan demanded, getting up and looking for her dummy “She is� Cheryl mimed, Kimberley turned to the side a little to see Megan pick up her dummy, she only really used it when she was tired or scared, and there was no way she was scared at the moment “She's got the dummy� Kimberley mimed back at Cheryl as she couldn't see “Told you� Cheryl smiled “Aaw bless her� Nicola sighed happily “Mummy, can I sit on your lap?� Megan asked, as she held her little blanket, with he dummy in her mouth “Come on then� Cheryl smiled as she picked her up and sat her on her lap, Megan wrapped her legs around Cheryl's waist and lent her head on her chest, as her eyes got heavier and heavier, Cheryl gently kissed the top of her head...

“Wanna go for a swim, when she wakes up?â€� Kimberley asked “Yeah, we could take her on that little inflatable boatâ€� Nicola smiled “Yeah, don't see why not, then we can get her an ice cream, or whateverâ€� Cheryl agreed, as she ran her fingers through Megan's soft brown hair “She was asking for her dad again earlierâ€� Nicola told Cheryl “I know, she wont stop, she definitely knows something's wrong, but I don't know what to tell her when we go home, I mean if he ends up staying at his brother's she's gonna wonder why he's not at home with us, for god's sake I can't have him with me in bed, eew no!â€� Cheryl sighed, making Kimberley and Nicola really feel for their friend “Unless he sleeps on the sofa, but I cant be arsed to deal with him or anythingâ€� She moaned, “Well, it's totally up to you, but were here for you whatever you decideâ€� Kimberley smiled “Yeah, if ever you need us babe, just call, you can come and stay with us or whatever if he's living at your's on the sofaâ€� Nicola smiled “Thanks girlsâ€� Cheryl slightly smiled, as thoughts of the harsh reality she was to face when she got  home suddenly hit her...

“Megan� Cheryl slightly whispered, as she stroked the side of her cheek, trying to wake her up “Come on baby, you need to wake up, else you wont sleep again tonight, will you pet� Cheryl told her, as she sat up and yawned, before looking around and Kimberley and Nicola “Mummy� She whispered “Oh sorry baby, was you having a nice dream?� Cheryl asked “Yeah, you and daddy was there this time and we went to the beach and we was at home playing in the garden and Buster and Coco� She smiled “Where they there too?� Cheryl asked “Yeah and Kimmi and Nic Nic� Megan took her dummy out and placed in gently on the table “Aaw� all girls sighed at once “Love you mummy� She smiled resting her head back on Cheryl “Aaw love you too baby� Cheryl kissed her head, as she hugged her back...

“Mummy noâ€� Megan held onto Cheryl tightly as she was about to go in the swimming pool “Well, stay up here with auntie Nic Nic then, yeah?â€� Cheryl asked, Megan nodded, as she turned to Nicola and opened her arms for her to take her “I wont be long okay?â€� Cheryl asked “Yeah, I want dummyâ€� She asked “Where is dummy?â€� Nicola asked, leaving Cheryl and Kimberley to go off for a swim “Don't knowâ€� Megan replied sounding as if she was going to cry “Hay come on let's find it yeah?â€� She asked, as she gently stroked the side of Megan's soft face “Yeahâ€� Megan sniffed, as Nicola searched  “Thereâ€� Megan screeched and pointed to the dummy, that was sat on the lounger, Nicola picked it up and placed it into Megan's mouth “There you go bubuâ€� She smiled “Nic Nicâ€� Megan slightly whispered as she rested her head on her shoulder “You cant go back to sleepâ€� She told her “Oh I'm tiredâ€� She replied “Well, if you stay awake we'll get an ice cream later wont we, yeah?â€� Nicola asked her “Yeah, pink one please auntie Nic Nicâ€� Megan smiled “Yeah a pink oneâ€� Nicola smiled as Cheryl and Kimberley came wandering over to join them.........
