“Marley, my little baby” Cheryl picked him up out of Ashley’s arms as he brought him downstairs, he’d just woken up and was crying, Ashley put his milk on for him as Cheryl soothed him and Megan ate her breakfast “Marley you gonna be a brother” She told him “Babes he’s all ready your brother” Ashley laughed “big brother” She corrected herself “Yeah you are” Cheryl spoke to Marley in her baby voice “And you’re gonna be a big sister again” She told Megan “Yeah a big big sister” She smiled “Yeah, here you go” Ashley handed Cheryl Marley’s milk so she fed him “I mean it’s not ideal, but it’s doable right?” Cheryl asked looking up at Ashley knowing they hadn’t planned the baby this time, also knowing that maybe they should have been more careful “Yeah, you, me and our three kids” Ashley smiled “Yeah” Cheryl grinned holding his hand …
“Mummy can you stay here?” Megan asked “No babe I’ve gotta go in a bit” Cheryl replied as she now sat on her lap “What, and you come back soon?” She asked “Yeah mummy will be back soon “And the baby?” She smiled placing her hand on Cheryl’s stomach “Yeah the baby” Ashley smiled also putting her hand on Cheryl’s stomach, “Can mummy have a kiss?” Cheryl asked Megan “Yeah” She smiled, leaning forward to kiss Cheryl “Now daddy” Megan lent herself to Ashley and gave him a kiss “And now mummy, daddy” She smiled so they did too, but only a little one, to their disappointment “I’ve been thinking” Ashley began “Hmm…….?” Cheryl asked, Ashley handed her a horse magazine “Horses?” Cheryl asked “Yeah just a pony” Ashley whispered, Cheryl pointed to Megan “Yeah” Ashley smiled “Horsey’s” Megan took the book from Cheryl “Yeah a horsey book” Ashley smiled “Hmm.. I don’t want her being spoilt babe” Cheryl sighed “Yeah but… She wont be… Well we’ll help her clean it out” He smiled “Will we?” She asked “I will then” He told her “Well if you want to look after it too then go ahead but I don’t want her to be spoilt” Cheryl told him “Don’t worry baby, I’ll make sure of it” He smiled, placing Marley in the baby bouncer by his feet…….
“Right you gonna say bye to mummy now?” Cheryl asked “No” Megan shook her head as she clung onto Cheryl “Baby please?” Cheryl asked as Megan began to cry “No I want mummy to stay” She cried “I know but I’ll come home soon princess I promise” She replied “Noo” Megan screached as he held his arms out for him to take her “Megs you’re gonna kick the baby if you’re not careful” Cheryl told her as she wobbled about on her lap, Megan got off her lap and sat on the floor crying “Megs come here” Ashley told her “Nooo” She screamed “Megs don’t scream” Ashley told her off “Nooo” She screamed again “Megan!” Cheryl told her as she pointed her finger, Megan stopped “None of that” She told her, so Megan sat quietly “Now come and say goodbye nicely to mummy” Ashley told her, so she got up and walked over to Cheryl holding out her arms for a hug “You have to be a good girl for daddy now” She told her, she hated telling her off but Ashley let her get away with it so she was the one that had to do it “Sorry mummy and daddy” Megan quietly replied “Good girl” Cheryl gave her a kiss on the head as did Ashley “Babes I know it’s horrible telling her off but you have to do it else she’ll be like this forever” She told Ashley “Okay” He replied, Cheryl and Megan shared a long lasting hug “You gonna sit with Marley babe?” Cheryl asked placing her on the floor next to him “Yeah” she smiled, Cheryl lent over and gave Marley a kiss “Love you mummy” Megan told her “Love you too baby” She replied, Cheryl and Ashley stood up and walked out into the hall way together…

“Daddyyy” Megan moaned, pushing her arms in the air for him to pick her up “Aaw she’ll be back soon princess” He smiled “Yeah” Megan wiped her tired eyes “Hey baby I have a surprise for you anyway” He smiled giving her a kiss “What is it?” She asked “Hmm… Just you wait and see, go and find me your wellies and get your coat and I’ll sort Marley out okay?” He asked “Okay” she smiled as Ashley placed her on the floor, letting her go off to get her wellies and coat…
“You ready baby?” He asked “Yeah” She smiled walking in carrying her coat and wellies, all in pink “Aww you look cute babe” He smiled kissing her nose “Cute?” She asked “Ha you do sound like your mummy don’t you” He smiled “Yeah” She jumped up and down as he held Marley and opened the living room door…
“Where are we going?” She asked sitting in her booster seat as Ashley strapped Marley in his car seat “Just somewhere babes you’ll find out soon enough” He replied “But we got wellies?” She asked “Yeah we have” Ashley lent over and strapped Megan in to her car seat “All ready to go?” He asked “Yeah now we can drive daddy” Megan smiled, so Ashley shut the car door and got into the drivers seat, “Marley were going to a special place with daddy” she told him, as he kicked his legs whilst Ashley began to drive…
“Were hear babe” Ashley smiled as he parked up about fifteen minutes later “But where daddy?” She asked “Wait till I get you out of the car” He laughed, as he got out and opened the back door, he unclipped her seat and let her out, before getting Marley “Are you carrying him?” She asked “No we got this” He smiled pulling out a strap on baby carrier “Oh okay” She smiled as he put the baby in and took Megan’s hand “But where are we?” she asked “At a farm” He laughed at her, “What… Why?” He asked “Because we’re getting you a pony” He smiled “A pony? A pink one?” She asked “Ha no babes not a pink one there’s a white one” He replied “White one?” She asked “Yeah is that okay?” He asked “Yeah” She replied “Just for my little princess” He smiled at her “Princess” She smiled to herself as they walked through a gate and into some stables, walking in the door they saw a white Shetland pony with a pink head collar and matching bridle the pony also had a pink saddle “Wowzaz” Megan smiled “Ha Wowzaz, did you get that off mummy babe?” He asked “Yeah mummy said it the other day” She replied as they walked over to the pony, a tall mad came in “You all right mate” He shook Ashley’s hand “All right” Ashley replied “This is the one you wanted?” He asked as Megan gently stroked the pony “Yeah this is the one, you want her then Megs?” He asked “Yeah I want her” She smiled “What do you say?” He asked “Can I have this horsey please?” She asked “Yes you can” He smiled “Yeah” The man replied “Yeah, it’s all there I’ve checked” Ashley handed him a brown envelope “Is this for the stables as well?” He asked “Yep, the pony, stables, and all this pink stuff” He smiled “Right we’ll get her dropped over to you in the next few days, hopefully as you only live down the road tomorrow” He told Ashley “Right, okay and the stables?” Ashley asked “Yep, we’ll take the stable first and build it for you, tomorrow before the pony have you got hay or do you need hay?” He asked “Well I have got some all ready” He explained “Okay then” The man shook Ashley’s hand again before they all went out of the stable and walked back to the car…
“What do you want to call her?” He asked as they drove home “Erm… I don’t know” She smiled “Glitter” She smiled “Glitter?” He asked “Yeah glitter” She replied as she watch Marley sleeping in his car seat “And you have to help me look after this pony” He told her “Okay, what do you mean?” She asked “Well, you can ride her, but you have to help me feed her and brush her fur and wash her and clean her poop, but not yet, I’ll do that ’till you’re older okay princess?” He asked her “Okay daddy” She replied with a little smile on her face “Good girl” He replied…

The next day a man came round and built a wooden stable at the side of the house for them “Daddy does the pony sleep in here?” She asked “Yeah” Ashley smiled “But not in the house?!” She asked sounding a little shocked “Noo, not in the house mummy will go mad” He laughed as he just pictured Cheryl’s face, seeing the pony in her house “Well cant she come in for tea or sleepy?” She asked “No babes, she has her own tea and she sleeps on the hay” He replied “Hay? What’s the hay?” She questioned “This” Ashley picked some up “No daddy that’s called straw” She smiled “Okay whatever you want to call it princess” He smiled “Straw!” She smiled…
“Here’s your pony princess” Ashley smiled as a land rover pulling a horse box parked up at there house “Yay the pony” She cheered “Yeah” He replied, another tall man walked over to Ashley and began talking to him as Megan wandered off to the now open pony box, she stepped inside and gave the pony a little stroke “Your name’s Glitter, and my name’s Megan and you’re my pony, but my big name’s Megan Cole. Did you know you’re all fluffy like Coco and Buster” She giggled at the pony…
“Megs” Ashley called, so she came running out of the horse box and over to Ashley “Wait here with me and the man will give me the pony then we can put her in the stables” He smiled “Okay” Megan replied, wandering over to Marley as he slept in his pram…
“Does mummy know about Glitter?” She asked “Yeah mummy knows” He smiled “Okay” She replied “But, you have to understand that you’re a very lucky little girl to have a pony, not many little girls like you can have one, okay” He told her, sitting her on her knee “Okay” She laughed “No Megs this is serious, you have to be a good girl, for this pony else she’ll go back to the man” He firmly told her “Okay, but if I beed good then can she stay here?” She asked “Yeah only if you’re good though” He smiled giving her a kiss on the head “Yeah I beed good daddy” She smiled “Good girl” He replied…
“Daddy, it smells pooie” Megan complained as she pinched the end of her nose “Oh Marley have you pooped?” He asked lifting Marley out of his pram “Yes I think he had actually daddy” Megan nodded “Can you go and grab me a nappy and his special cream please babe?” Ashley asked “What in your room?” She frowned “No it’s just in the dining room” He smiled, placing Marley on the changing mat on the floor “Oh okay” He smiled going off into the dining room…
“Here you go” She smiled handing the nappy and cream to Ashley “Oh and a nappy bag please?” He asked “A nappy bad?” She moaned as she sat on the sofa “Yes please?” He replied as he raised his eye brows at her “Okay…” She replied standing up…
“But daddy what will this other baby be?” She asked “I don’t know yet princess” He replied “Will you all ways love me and Marley?” She asked “Course we will, me and mummy both” He replied “All the time?” She asked “Look we could have another 15 babies and we would still love you all the same” He smiled “Okay, but not forget about us?” She asked “We’ll never ever ever forget about you” He lent over and gave her a kiss on the head “But daddy, are you sure?” She asked “Baby I promise, look I don’t leave you out with Marley do I?” He asked “No” she shook her head “No exactly so you have nothing to worry about” he smiled…..
