Part 13
Next morning Megan awoke and woke Cheryl and Ashley up “Mummy I'm better so we can go home now” She smiled “Hang on we have to wait till the nurse comes and sees you, don't we” Cheryl replied “Oh okay” Megan sighed “Hay, we don't have to wait that long” Ashley told her, making her smiled slightly again as she lay there quietly, with her dummy still in her mouth “You still tired baby” Cheryl gently stroked Megan's little cheek as she faced her mum “Yeah” Megan replied “Megs, are you sure your better?” Ashley asked, as she's usually running around and being really loud when she wakes up first thing in the morning “Yes daddy I want to go home” She asked nicely “What if you have another sleep baby, then the nurse will come and see you when you wake up and she'll see if we can go home yeah?” Cheryl asked “Mummy” She mumbled, nearly in tears “Shhh, Megs, go to sleep” Cheryl continued to stroke Megan's cheek, as her eyes began to slowly close, she really was tired........
“Daddy, where's mummy gone?” Megan asked as she woke up and stretched “She's just gone to the toilet babes” Ashley smiled “I want mummy” She mumbled “What about me” Ashley playfully asked “Both of you” She put her arms out for Ashley to take her and sit her on his lap “Come on then” He picked her up and sat her on his knee, just what she wanted, before she turned round and hugged him “Aaw baby” Ashley hugged her back “Love you daddy” She whispered “Love you too princess” He replied before they where joined by Cheryl “Hello baby girl, did you have a good sleepy?” Cheryl asked, to which Megan nodded before leaning forward for a kiss, Cheryl lent in and gave her a kiss on the cheek “An I love you mummy” Megan smiled “Aww love you too” Cheryl sat down beside Ashley and Megan, whilst she held her hand “Mummy, I want to go home” She asked “Yeah, not long now though ay?” Cheryl replied, not really knowing if they where going home yet...
“Mummy” Megan whispered “What's the matter baby” Cheryl asked “My tummy hurts” she replied “Have you had your breakfast?” Cheryl asekd “No I got this bandage” Megan lifted up her right arm as it was still wrapped in a bandage so she couldn't see the needle, she didn't even know it was there and couldn't even feel it, she just knew it was giving her food somehow “Okay, do you feel sick or got a headache?” she asked “Yeah” Megan replied, still being very quiet “What one?" Cheryl asked "I feel sick mummy, i don't want to be sick" Megan began to cry "Aaw baby come here" She replied, pulling megan on to her lap "You wont be, okay, just think 'I'm not gonna be sick'" Cheryl smiled "I not gonna be sick" Megan replied "Good girl" She kissed her lightly on the head "Here you go" Ashley gently placed her dummy in her mouth...
Part 14
“Mummy” Megan mumbled as she stopped crying “What's the matter?” Cheryl asked “I want to go home” She sighed “Aaw, not yet though, you're not going to go home until you're a bit better, just a bit” Cheryl smiled “And daddy?” She asked “Yes and daddy” she replied “Daddyyy...” Megan put her arms out for Ashley to hold her, though she was still weak “Aaw, my baby” Ashley cooed “My daddy” Megan smiled at him, as Cheryl yawned, she was still so tired “Mummy go to sleep” Megan told her “Yeah I will” She replied “She's right babe, you need to sleep” Ashley told her “I know but...” She began before Ashley butted in “But, nothing, Megan's awake now, so you can sleep for a bit, I'll take care of her “Fine then” She sighed, as she got comfortable on the chair “Daddy” Megan turned to Ashley and smiled at him again, he lent forward and gave her a kiss on the nose, making her laugh a bit “Shh mummy's asleep” Ashley pointed to Cheryl who had her eyes shut, of course she wasn't but she was trying...
four days later
“Can I go home now?” Megan asked as she lay in her bed “I don't know, wait till the nurse comes in to see you” Ashley smiled “Yeah” Megan replied “I hope we can” Cheryl chipped in “Hmm.. me too babe, is all my stuff still at home?” Ashley asked “Daddy, we didn't chuck it out” Megan laughed as did Cheryl and Ashley “She's right, we didn't get rid of it” She smilled “That's okay then, thank you” He smiled “Because you where coming home daddy” Megan smiled as she held Ashley's hand “It will be okay now where together, we can be happy again, cant we?” She asked “Yeah we can” Cheryl smiled “That's right” Ashley added. Though Megan was young, and didn't really understand what was going on she knew the importance of family, and she was right, when they where together they did have fun and they where the perfect loving little family ever, she knew they needed to be together, they just couldn't live without each other...
Later that day the nurse came back in to see if Megan could go home, and luckily she could, but on the condition that she takes things very slow. So Cheryl and Ashley packed up her things “Come on pet, we need to get you dressed” Cheryl picked up some of Megan's clean clothes, as she was wearing he pyjamas “Noo mummy” Megan shrugged “Right we'll have to wrap you up and carry you then, are you still tired?” She asked as Megan put her dummy into her mouth “a bit but can we go home?” She asked “Yes, we are, you can have a sleepy when we go home okay?” Cheryl told her , Megan nodded and put her arms out for Cheryl to pick her up so she did as Ashley packed away her things “Oh baby, look at you” Cheryl stroked the side of her face ans pushed the hair out of her eyes as she hugged her, before giving her a kiss on the head “She's not great is she?” Ashley asked “No not really, but maybe she'd be better off at home, where she comfortable” she replied as Megan played with Cheryl's hair, whilst she talked to Ashley.........
Looking out of the window the place was surrounded by paparazzi again, the couple needed to somehow run with Megan's stuff and Megan, who had to be carried, the press wanted there picture and they just didn't care that there was a poor innocent ill little girl involved “I'll carry her to the car and you get all the stuff in, okay?” Ashley asked “Okay” Cheryl handed Megan to Ashley before leaving the room, on the way out Cheryl handed a card to the nurse that looked after Megan the whole time they where there, she also gave her some flowers. “You ready?” Ashley asked as they approached the main door of the hospital “Yeah” Cheryl took a deep breath “You” She asked “Yeah” Ashley agreed as Megan buried her head in Ashley's shoulder, so the paps didnt get a picter, she also had a blanket over her, for warmth as she was only in pyjamas. They began to open the door, getting ready to walk swiftly over to the car, really not as easy as it sounded.
The paps where asking about the state of their relationship and Megan's health, so Ashley pulled the blanket up and over Megan's head so she couldn't hear it “Daddy” Megan began to cry from under the cover “Shh... don't worry baby, were nearly at the car” He reassured her, whilst gently stroking her back, trying to soothe her....
“There you go, do you want mummy with you, so I can drive?” Ashley asked as he strapped Megan in, to their silver 7 seater, “Yeah” She cried, the paps still watched from behind him, “Okay, hang on a sec then” Ashley stayed with her until Cheryl got in the car from the other side, after filling up the boot “There you go” Cheryl sat beside Megan in her seat and held her hand as she done up her own seatbelt
