The fic im doing on GAM. Thought i'd start you off with the teaser first.
PLOT:
Cheryl is going through her divorce with Ashley, and both Simon and Derek are after her.
Who will she choose to be with? Will her best friend Kimberley, who is now the new presenter of the Xtra Factor be able to help her make her decision??

TEASER:
After a long day of filming the pair of them went back to their hotel room.
'God me feet are killing us', Cheryl groaned.
Kimberley laughed handing Cheryl a cup of tea and sitting on the sofa beside her, 'You've been sat down behind that desk most of the day, ive been standing up all day! So dont go telling me your feet are killing, because i bet you mine are 10 times worse'.
Cheryl giggled taking the cup, 'thanks babe... and you know, your amazing at presenting. I cant wait for the fans to see all the Chim moments, its going to be so fun!'
Kimberley smiled, 'Yeah me too. Doesnt really feel like a job when your working with your best friend'.
'Aww!', Cheryl grinned putting her cup down and moving her head onto Kimberleys shoulder.
Kimberley rested her head against Cheryls.
'Anyway... theres something i need to confront you about..'
Cheryls head shot up, 'Yes?'
Kimberley tried hard to act serious.. 'I know your secret Cheryl'.
Cheryls lip trembled.. 'M..my secret?'
Kimberley nodded, 'Mmm i can read you like a book'.
Cheryl shook her head and laughed slightly, 'What are you talking about'?
Kimberley bit her lip before speaking, 'The reason your so happy. Its Simon'
CHAPTER ONE.Cheryl’s cheeks flushed a bright shade of pink as her mouth shot open. ‘Oh my God… you saw?’
Kimberley giggled. ‘Indeed I did’.
‘I..erm.. it wasn’t how it looked’ she stuttered.
Kimberley pressed her lips together to hold in the laughter.
‘It’s not f*cking funny Kimberley. So I kissed him. It was nothing, I mean Simon’s way too old for me; it was just a friendly kiss. Nothing more.’ She explained.
Kimberley laughed as she placed her hand on her Geordie friend’s thigh. ‘Babe its fine. You deserve some happiness after Ashley anyway…’
Cheryl sighed at the thought of Ashley, ‘But Kimberley.. honestly it’s nothing. One small kiss… it doesn’t mean a thing’.
‘I know babe, I know. I’m just saying that, even if you did have something going on with Simon I’d be happy for you’, she smiled reassuring her friend. ‘Anyway get you, kissing the boss eh? Maybe I should try it out sometime soon. Is he a good kisser?’
‘KIMBERLEY WALSH!’, Cheryl laughed gently hitting her friend. ‘You are a married woman... well you should bloody be by now. I swear your Justin is taking the p!ss, its been what 7/8 years Kimberley? Tell him to get a bloody move on, else I might have to propose to you myself’.
Kimberley winked, ‘You didn’t answer my question Miss Tweedy..’
Cheryl pretended to be clueless, ‘Which was?’
Now it was Kimberley’s turn to gently hit Cheryl, ‘Oi you...you know damn well what the question was... Now answer it’.
Cheryl screwed up her nose not wanting to answer, ‘hmm.. .’
Puzzled, Kimberley nudged her, ‘Is that a yes?’
Cheryl nodded before getting up and switching the TV on trying to avoid the conversation.
Kimberley pulled the TV remote from her and turned the TV off. ‘Hey you... Stop avoiding this conversation, you’re my best friend, you can tell me anything. Hey you know… Simon is pretty fit, for an older man, and I know you agree…’
Cheryl half laughed, half sighed, ‘Kimberley stop it’.
‘Cheryl’s in love with Simon’, Kimberley teased.
‘Kimberley I mean it…’ Cheryl rubbed her temples.
‘If it meant nothing then why are you getting so worked up about it? Cheryl, if you liked him… well, it would be sweet. I think you’s would suit, your both fiery and he’s always flirting with you on set its so obvious!’, she told her friend.
‘OK! Yes I admit it. I like Simon okay. And yes I know he likes me, I mean he really likes me. He tried it on with me last year in the dressing rooms after the live shows, more than once. But I pushed him away because… I was with Ashley. And now I’m single he’s even more up for it. But I don’t want a fling Kimberley. Simon isn’t the kind of guy to settle down. He’s the kind of guy that has God knows how many women lined up for a one night stand. I can’t put myself through that. Besides... There’s someone else’.
Kimberley opened her pouted lips, ‘Oh my God he… tried it on with you!? Well… can’t say I’m too surprised he’s well into you. But who else is there?’.
Cheryl got up shaking her head. ‘I can’t talk about this right now. I’m tired, I’ll see you in the morning. Night babe.’
Cheryl went through to her room and changed into her PJ’s before getting into bed. God she hated hotel beds, even worse when she had it to herself. She moved her hand over to the other side of the bed feeling the cold sheets, wishing that someone was there lying with her keeping her safe and warm. She didn’t feel like sharing with Kimberley tonight. She knew Kimberley wouldn’t let her rest until she had told her everything, but she just wasn’t in the mood to talk to her right now.
Cheryl lay staring around the hotel room. She heard noises coming from the room just outside and asumed that Kimberley was going to the other bedroom. She slowly closed her eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.
**a few hours later**
Cheryl shot up in bed feeling her heart race.
‘For ****s sake’, she groaned.
She hated it when someone woke her up from her sleep with a phone call. Couldn’t it bloody wait to a reasonable time!? But she moved her arm slowly along to the bedside table regardlessly and picked her phone up and pressed the answer button.
‘Umm?’, she groaned down the phone.
‘Hey… erm. Sorry did I wake you? I didn’t know what time it was over there. I just wanted to tell you that I’m coming over to England tomorrow and I just wondered if you wanted to meet up. I erm… I’ve missed you’ she heard a soft voice say.
Cheryl sat up slightly, ‘Sorry… who’s this’? She was half asleep so didnt recognise the voice.
‘Oh it’s me. Derek’.
