"You VIP mate?" A bouncer asked the driver as Cheryl and Derek's car pulled up at the side of the club. "Yeah i've got Tweedy and Hough," the driver told the bouncer in a matter of fact tone. "Okay, well turn left into the drop-off zone and somebody will meet you there to escort them in. Enjoy your night." The car set off again and followed the directions where, as promised two burly blokes were waiting to escort Cheryl and Derek into the club's VIP lounge. "Do you ever feel sorry for the people queueing up outside?" Cheryl asked as she climbed out of the car. "Babes, only you could worry about the people queueing up," Derek laughed at how thoughtful Cheryl really was. "Well they must be cold waiting to get in." The pair were helped up a flight of stairs by the two bouncers. When they reached the top they opened a door and allowed Cheryl and Derek to enter the VIP lounge. "Enjoy your night." * "Two gin and tonic's please," Jessica confidently told the barman what it was she wanted, the guy obeyed of course and even though Jessica had given him a cheeky wink his attention was well and truly on her friend who was quite easily the prettiest girl he had set eyes on for a while. He handed over the drinks and took the change, wishing he had to confidence to ask for her number but unfortunately he wasn't that brave. The girls walked away from the bar and sat down in one of the booths which had just become available. "That barman was giving you the eye," Jessica joked as she picked up some leaflets from the middle of the table. "No he wasn't, he was probably looking at you," Shenice found that she was blushing at the thought of having an admirer. As Jessica sat flicking through leaflets, Shenice allowed her eyes to wander around the room. She took in all of the girls wearing barely any clothes, and the guys who allowed their eyes to wander all over the girls' flesh. Jessica glanced over the leaflets and looked at her best friend, she sighed because she wished that Shenice would only realise how pretty she really was and that she had more admirers than Jessica had had hot dinners. * Derek set down a tray of drinks on the table as it hadn't taken them long to meet up with people they knew. "Aww thank you Derek, your a gem," praised Cheryl's best friend Kimberley Walsh who was enjoying a night out with her boyfriend Justin. Derek slid into the booth beside Cheryl and instantly sparked up a conversation. "So, are you girls planning on a Girls Aloud reunion then?" Justin rolled his eyes, "Well all the time they spend talking and texting about it, i think they have world domination planned mate." The girls laughed and Cheryl started to explain about the girls' plans for a future tour and album. Derek listened intently, clearly captivated by whatever it was Cheryl had to say. Kimberley stole a glance at him and smiled, she was happy that Derek was looking out for Cheryl, she knew that he would keep her right and treat her like a princess and what more could a girl want for her best friend? Justin was flicking through a small pile of leaflets which had been cleverly arranged in the middle of the table. His eyes scanned one of them and instantly picked out the words 'Street Dance-Off' his brain ticked over and then he decided that perhaps this could be important enough to interrupt the girls' future plans. "Erm, girls, have you seen this?" He handed Kimberley the leaflet and she read the information out loud. "For one night only, our resident DJ will be dropping some Urban beats whilst you are all given a chance to shine and show off your best moves. Come along and take part or just observe some of the best movers in the city." Cheryl looked at Derek excitedly, "It sounds great, when is it Kimba?" "Erm ...," Kimberley's eyes quickly scanned the leaflet, "Tonight, but in the normal section of the club. I doubt we will be able to go babes." Cheryl looked so disappointed, Derek knew he had to do something. "Be right back," he said and he left the table in the direction of a club official.
