Last night in a tweet, News of the World Showbiz Editor Dan Wootton said he'd be releasing a bombshell regarding Girls Aloud's future. As predicted by me, the story is made up almost entirely of 'insiders, sources, friends' etc, so we can pretty much dismiss this story as bull, although ill write it up anyways....


Girls Aloud have supposedly discussed becoming a four-piece and recording their next album this year WITHOUT Nadine Coyle. A "source" close to the band confirmed the bombshell news and said: "They're tired of her mucking them around."


Cheryl, Sarah, Nicola and Kimberley had been planning to go into the studio with Nadine in November to record their next album, but Nadine has said in an interview last week that she would definitely NOT work on an album this year.


Nadine Coyle says there has been no discussions between the girls and management about specific plans for the future, in a NOTW article last Sunday. That was apparently news to her bandmates, who reacted angrily because they remain committed to the band's studio time THIS YEAR.


The insider goes on to explain: "The girls always had the end of 2010 booked in to record their next album and all of them, other than Nadine, still want to go ahead. If Nadine refuses they could simply go ahead as the four of them. It's not ideal and they would rather find a way to make it work, but she doesn't seem interested."


"Nadine hasn't been in contact with the girls in ages. But the other four are still best of friends and have been rallying around Cheryl during this tough time. That's very telling and it could be a sign of things to come. The band could survive without her. Some fans might be disappointed but they'd rather Girls Aloud continue with four members than not go on at all."


When the girls announced a temporary split last year, they implicitly stated they would reform for a new album in 2010, which is inline with their new three-album contract. But those plans are currently in chaos as Nadine focuses on launching her solo career now she's finally managed to get a contract.


The source added: "Nadine is essentially mucking the other girls around. They are ready and waiting. But it's become clear to us that her heard doesn't seem to be in the band anymore."


So what do you think folks??? Is this a case of another insider feeding the media BS, or is Nadine mucking the band around now she's finally getting into gear after a long-search for a solo record deal.

BUT, I will say i think a lot of this is complete BS, but I do get the feeling that now Nadine has got a record contract, she is more interested in trying to launch herself as a solo artist than she is at getting back with Girls Aloud, because what has she HONESTLY accomplished since leaving the group???

Nothing. Cheryl launched huge solo career, Nicola doing a lot of campaigning and doing her Dainty Doll stuff, Kimbo doing a lot of modelling and tv work, Sarah, doing a lot of acting.

Nadine is ONLY JUST getting her act together after finally finding a record deal. I don't think she want's to go back to the band as the person who's achieved nothing in the time they were supposed to be doing their own stuff.

But that's just my opinion, and Im bound to be slaughtered by you guys for saying that, but thats how i see the situation.

As for whether id be sad to see her go, Im not going to answer that, because the majority of you will not like the answer.

i think that is a load of bs they wont carry on without nadine, in the past they have maintained that if 1 person went for wotever reason the group wont carry on,it would be so weird them being a 4 piece, but then again maybe nichola might get some more lead vocals coz i think she has got an amazing voice better than nadz in my opinion

GA wouldn't ditch Nadine would they? She's busy doing her solo album, and sarah will be too (if reports about hers are correct). She can't just drop it after all her hard work.
Plus this is going to be fake , 'insider', 'the source said'. Whenever those words crop up, in ANY article, you know you don't have to worry.

Media, back off Nadine. And get your facts straight.
