KIMBERLEY Walsh has dismissed rumours of a feud with Nadine Coyle, but admits they've grown apart. Girls Aloud beauty Kimberley Walsh has insisted there is no conflict whatsoever with bandmate Nadine Coyle, but says they're not that close since the singer relocated to LA.
Speaking in an interview, the singer said: âPeople look for conflict where there isnât any.
"In any group there will be people you are really on the same wavelength as and others where itâs different.
"But it doesnât mean weâre not friends⊠Nadine lives in LA now so itâs inevitable you grow apart."
The 28-year-old counts Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts among her best friends, and said she couldn't have got through life in the band without them.
âWith Cheryl and Nicola, itâs the same [type of relationship as with my oldest friends]," she explained.
"I donât know why weâve bonded like we have, but Iâd count them among my best friends. I look back at certain moments and think, âWhat would I have done without them?â I wouldnât have coped.â
She added: "Sarahâs just mad!
"She really is, and I love her for it. It can be really good to have that energy around youâŠ"
And it seems her close relationship with Cheryl has helped theParachute songstress through her very public split from footballerAshley Cole.
ââŠItâs hard when any of your friends go through something upsetting," she said.
"But all you can do is be as supportive as you can possibly be.â
The star admitted that while Cheryl is riding high in the charts, she doesn't feel in competition.
"I really am not competitive with any of the girls," she said. "Itâsbeen nice to have a break and do our own things.â
