Kimberley Walsh has landed a presenting role - fronting a documentary about jeans.
TheGirls Aloud star will travel around the US and Europe to uncover thehistory of the ubiquitous clothing which has become a staple ofwardrobes around the world.
She said: "Like most British women, Ilove my jeans but often struggle to find the perfect fit - thisprogramme will reveal the hidden truth behind jeans and will offer lotsof advice so we can all find that elusive perfect pair, whatever ourshape and size."
Jean Evolution - which will be screened on Sky 1later this year - will go back to the beginnings of denim and look atthe changing status of jeans through their popularity with Italiansailors and cowboys.
Celia Taylor, Sky 1's head of features,said: "Kimberley is gorgeous, funny and charming and I'm thrilled sheis doing this film for Sky 1."
Kimberley has already been a roving reporter for The X Factor and presented red carpet coverage at the Baftas for MTV.

I'm glad Kimba is going to finally be back on our screens etc.
But what on earth will the TV people think of next? A documentary about Jeans :L

Id love to see much more of you on TV, and it's good to see your fronting some new TV shows. We announced yesterday she's fronting a new show called Promzilla's, now she's fronting this show too.

Can't wait to see them, even if i have zero interest in jeans and proms. lol. I agree Amber, they'll be doing TV shows on toilet paper next.

They HAVE donea toilet paper programme, 'How Its Made' did a toilet paper version ;)

LOL. Very sad, but I've seen that episode. All of them actually, they are repeated so damn often.

It's quite a cool series, always aired on Discovery Channel. Basically shows you how everyday objects we use all the time, are made.


To be honest, the vast majority of the time im watching the tele, its normally on the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Im a bit of a geek for those types of shows.
