Everyone’s got one of those mates who invites themselves along to things despite never really being welcome (you know who you are… actually no you don’t, you’re flipping oblivious), and Nadine Coyle sounds like the popstar equivalent.
Nadine is causing “frustration” among the rest of the band (Nicola, Sarah, Cheryl and the other one) because her non-existent solo album is delaying the reunion of Girls Aloud.
Whereas the other ladies are hoping to get back in the studio in the not-so-distant future, Nadine is said to be dragging her feet over the launch of her solo album. It was supposed to come out in February, but there’s still no release date (perhaps she’s been busy scoffing her face with all those potatoes).
Now, Girls Aloud has virtually given Nadine the chance to walk away, because not only is she a massive procrastinator (we learned that word on Sabrina the Teenage Witch), but she hasn’t bothered to get in touch for over six months.
A secretive secret source said: “The Girls are getting frustrated waiting around to see what she is planning to do. There is no way Nadine is going to leave the band – despite the ill feeling, it wouldn’t be in her interests to quit.”
Sucks for them, but at least we’ll find it fascinating when the clingy bitch finally rejoins the band.
