It was great to see all the acts on that show perform with genuine passion, they clearly had a lott'a love for Stephen who will be sadly missed by them all and that shone through in their performances. They all did him proud :)

Yeah it is indeed, and it was all started, believe it or not, by Freddie Mercury! The first tribute concert ever was the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, which was in 1991. From that date forward, whenever a notable name in the music industry dies, there is always normally some sort of tribute show or concert.


I know I bang on about Queen a lot, but it seemed quite relevant in this topic, so you'll all have to forgive me for bringing it up, again! LOL.

Tribute concerts!! They did one for MJ when he died. I was up at 2 am watching that.
