SCREAM! Our favourite Girls Aloud-er Nicola has FINALLY let slip all the details of her solo career. We’re so excited, we’ve been on the brink of self-combusting since Nicola’s Twitter went into overdrive this week about her single Beat Of My Drum.
 
After months of sneaking in and out of recording studios, the best ginger in pop has finally revealed she’s been making some AMAZING tunes with fancy-pants cool music types like Diplo, Metronomy, and heat’s favourite electropop people Dragonette. SCREAM.
 
“The album has a very British sound, that was important to me,” explains Nicola. “I co-wrote all of the songs on the record. The stories I tell in the album are things that have happened to me and life in general. Some are happy, some songs are a little cheeky and one song is sad.” SCREAM.

Beat Of My Drum is out on 5th June, with the album Cinderella's Eyes out in the autumn.
