Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts slams reports that she and fellow bandmate Nadine Coyle have fallen out.
"Its quite funny how reporters completely twist your words around. I did an interview a few weeks ago and said that I haven't heard from her [Nadine] since last year and a magazine printed off a malicious story and twisted my words."
Nicola Roberts (25) and Nadine Coyle (25) both made it into Girls Aloud through ITV's Popstars The Rivals in 2002 along with Cheryl Cole (26), Kimberley Walsh (28) and Sarah Harding (28).
Since 2002 the band have notched up 20 top 10 consecutive hits as well as 2 Number one albums. But it is far from over for Girls Aloud.
"Girls Aloud is my passion, I am very fortunate to be apart of such an amazing thing. We are all looking forward to the next record and tour. We just have such an amazing time together."
The band last performed together in September when they were supporting Coldplay, have said they would take a year off for solo ventures but promises of another album.
"We are all very busy at the moment. I've got my make up range launching soon and the girls are working on other projects."
Roberts, who previously said she hasn't spoken to Coyle since their gig last September says they have not fallen out and looks forward to reuniting with her.
"Obviously with Nadine living in America it is going to be hard to keep in touch. I have a huge amount of respect for Nadine and I'm very excited to listen to her album when it comes out."
