Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is launching a solo career. The Sexy! No No Nosinger has been concentrating on acting while the band is on temporaryhiatus, but has now revealed she is going to be the third member of thegroup to try for pop success on her own.
Sarah - who starred in British film St. Trinian's II: The Legend of Fritton's Gold - said: "I'm starting my album now but I don't know what theme of music to go for. I want to step away from pop.
"I would love it to be something like Lady Gaga. She can really singand perform. In the band we all have a say but we have to compromise.Now I can do exactly what I want."
Reflecting her change in attitude, Sarah also sported a new look thisweek, dropping her usual rock chick edge for a sober business suit. Itis thought Sarah could be steered toward dance music by her DJboyfriend Tom Crane.
Sarah's bandmate Cheryl Cole successfully launched her own solo careerlast year, reaching number one in the UK singles charts with her debutrelease Fight for This Love.
Nadine Coyle is set to release her solo LP, which includes a handful of tracks she has written herself, in the spring.
She recently said: "I've been writing my own songs. It's been anincredible experience, I'm hoping to release it in the spring."
The other members of the group, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts,have concentrated on modelling and launching a make-up rangerespectively.

Me too. I love Sarah, stunning voice, stunning girl, i think she'll do pretty well. Not as well as Cheryl, but MUCH better than Nadine.

Sarah will be amazing, nd Nadine has an album out in the summer so dont underestimate her, shes just putting a lot of time nd effort into it, what on earth do ppl have against Nadine??? she is a very talented person, nd all this fued stuff with her nd cheryl is just the press liying again, nd u guys seem 2 believe it, well the press have always nd will always be perverted liersx

Im speaking for myself here, not for the rest of the fans, but i have never claimed Nadine isnt talented. She EASILY has the best voice in Girls Aloud, but she just doesnt have the amount of public support that Cheryl has.


She also comes across as very bitter, jealous and a bit up her own arse. I don't know if thats how everybody sees her, but ive spoken to a large majority of fans who seem to have very similar opinions to mine.


Like i said though, she is VERY talented, she just doesnt have the backing that Chezza does. Just my opinion.
