Harry Styles got more than he bargained for when he attempted to rugby tackle Wagner.

Wagner got the wrong end of the stick when One Direction’s Harry Styles attempted to rugby tackle him, during the video shoot for The X Factor charity single, Heroes.

The fiery Brazilian threatened the 16 year old, unaware that Harry had actually been directed to play fight.

A source told The Mirror: “Trouble flared towards the end of filming, when tensions were already running high.

“Wagner, One Direction, Nicolo Festa, Storm Lee and John Adeleye had all sung a line together and immediately after it, Harry was told to jokingly rugby tackle Wagner as he walked out of shot.

“Unfortunately no-one had told Wagner what was in store. The next thing he knew, Harry was play fighting him to the ground and Wagner didn’t realise the camera was still rolling.”

Now to be fair to Wagner, anyone would react to being thrown to the ground by a curly haired youth, but the long haired lover took it a little too far, pushing the heartthrob off and squaring up to him, reportedly saying: “I advise you, Harry, not to mess with a karate black-belt, with a man who knows martial arts.”

Show bosses stepped in and explained that the move was actually for the cameras and a mortified Wagner was forced to apologise.

Let’s hope they kept the film rolling for that.

The X Factor finalists Wagner Carrilho and One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles reportedly had to be separated by staff after fighting at a video shoot on Tuesday.

According to The Mirror, the pair locked horns when shooting the promo for their charity single, a cover of the David Bowie track, Heroes.

The 16-year old allegedly playfully rugby tackled the Brazilian crooner as part of a scene in the video, which Wagner took the wrong way and apparently threatened to head-butt Harry.

A source told the newspaper: "Trouble flared towards the end of a video session, when tensions were already running high. Wagner, One Direction, Nicolo Festa, Storm Lee and John Adeleye had all sung a line together and immediately after it, Harry was told to jokingly rugby tackle Wagner as he walked out of shot."

 "Unfortunately no-one had told Wagner what was in store. The next thing he knew, Harry was play fighting him to the ground and Wagner didn't realise the camera was still rolling. He looked pretty scary as he snarled at Harry, warning him he was a karate expert."

They continued:  "He then made as if to do an elaborate karate chopping movement, and shoved Harry, before staff stepped in and separated them. It was all pretty hostile and the atmosphere afterwards was terrible."

Carrilho was said to be 'mortified' when he realised that Harry was told to rugby tackle him for the video and was reportedly warned by show bosses about his behaviour, as well as being forced to apologise to the cast and crew.

A spokesperson for the XF later stated: "Wagner was just being playful. He feels like a 15-year-old boy himself and sometimes forgets that he's not. He's just a big softie at heart."
