Girls Alouds Out of Control Tour came to London at the O2 Arena on Sunday 26th April 2009, and being their fifth tour, it was the most professional of their career. All went well apart from Cheryl Cole being trapped under the stage for most of the opening song, as her rising plinth failed to rise.
The girls show was indeed very racy, and saw the girls dressed up in Rocky Horror space vixen gear, performing pole dancing routines and showing a whole lot of leg. The girls have more than 20 hits under their belts, so Cheryl and the gang were free to pick and choose which songs they wanted to perform, and squeeze the rest into a mega-mix. They played particular attention to their recent and biggest selling album, Out of Control.
The high point of the evening according to the fans we spoke too was the girls performance of their current single, Untouchable, where we saw the pop babes on a flying platform just inches above the audiences heads. Among familiar favourites like Call The Shots, Biology, Sound of the Underground, they even found time for a cover of Britney’s Womanizer and James Morrison’s Broken Wings.
The Girls probably gave the performance of their lives at the O2 Arena on Sunday 26th April 2009, but checkout the pictures and videos for yourselves.
