On October 19, Girls Aloud officially released the music video of their comeback song, “Something New”, on VEVO. The single is the first song the group released since 2009, and it will eventually be included on, “Ten”, the group’s forthcoming greatest hits album.
Though, “Something New” will not be available for download on iTunes until November 18.
The video starts will all the Girls Aloud girls, Cheryl Cole, Kimberly Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding standing in front of a white backdrop all wearing identical orange dresses. The video then begins with scenes switching from one girl to another in orange dresses, and each girl separately singing in front of the camera. The whole music video continuously switches from color to black and white and then back again.
The “Something New” track will be the lead single of Girls Aloud upcoming compilation record, “Ten”. The album will also feature four new songs besides the group’s best known hits. “Ten” is slated to be released on November 26 by Fascination Records. Girls Aloud released their last studio album, “Out of Control” in 2008.
