Joe McElderry Will NOT Be Singing with Girls Aloud in X Factor Final

Girls Aloud and Joe McElderryFollowing reports and speculation earlier this week that X Factor favourite Joe McElderry will be singing with Girls Aloud in The X Factor Final, the young star today denied claims that he’ll be performing with his mentor’s band.

Speaking with The Jarrow and Hebburn Gazette, Joe said: “That’s something that has to be quashed – it’s not true. It would have been an obvious choice, but the girls have been so supportive. The support I have been getting has been amazing and I couldn’t believe it when Alicia Keys said she thought I was the best. These are A-list celebrities saying they enjoy my performances.

So unfortunately for us Girls Aloud fans, Joe will NOT be singing with the band in the final. It’s currently unknown who Joe will be performing with, but seeing as the final is next week, you can bet your bottom dollar that we’ll find out in the next few days.

Who do YOU think Joe McElderry should duet with in The X Factor Final? Leave your comment below…
